I'm going to Italy for 2 weeks..

..and my mom warned me not to over pack. What essentials do you think I should take with me? I'm stumped

Good Lord Italy is a beautiful country! I wish I could go back! Anywho.. I'm assuming you're asking about what makeup you should bring. But ya know.. I think as long as you don't bring creamy stuff like blush cremes and CCB's, then you'll be good. Italy is pretty damn humid and you don't want your MU melting off your face. Have fun!! Take lots of pictures!

at the moment it's not particularly hot or humid anyway... but i guess that if you're coming in august you'll find a lot of humidity and hot weather. you'll probably won't need foundation

Italy is beautiful. I would say try and pack some eyeshadow palettes to get the most e/s and less space. I travel often and take my Tailormade palette (or another one), one versatille piggie you can use for a highlighter for both eyes and face. (I like Hellium), concealer, mascara, and powder. Have fun on your trip!

Actually I'm leaving Saterday...do you think a tinted moisterizer would be ok? Thats all I really need as a foundation anyway.

I think if I was going I would take -

Tinted moisturizer (with SPF preferably)
Sunblock (of course)
Lip Balm
Fav lip glosses (one for day, one for evening)
One fav blush
Waterproof mascara
Fav l/s or lip tint
Khol e/l
small e/s palette

Who knows maybe you'll pick up some makeup there even

lucky you! i can't wait until i go back there again. when i went last summer it was VERY hot...well atleast it was to me, i'm kind of spoiled when it comes to the weather. lol

i didn't bother with foundation when i was there, it would just melt off my face. and also, since i was constantly hot, i didn't want to bother with putting on eyeshadow. all i used was lipgloss, mascara, and blush.

in tuscany the weather is quite mild so you shouldn't have problems with melting

but if i were you i'd reduce make-up to your everyday essentials - idk, concealer, blush, mascara, something like that - and add a couple of nice e/s for evenings out and a sparkly gloss!

Hi! I live in Tuscany...
The weather is quite hot, even if last week was humid and rainy.
I'm using the foundation at that moment, bronzer as blush, e/s and mascara.

I recommend you a hydrating fluid, oil free, with spf 15 for your face,
concealer, bronzer, 2 e/s for day and night and lipglosses.
Have a nice stay
