Has anyone ever applied with international shoppes? I have been in this long painful process lol, it's killing me inside and out. I am thinking of it night in and day out! Has anyone ever worked with MAC Travel Retail Americas? I've been looking around and find absolutely nothing upon this matter except on Instagram. But that is only pictures, I'd be lucky enough if people actually answered questions on there. But I had an interview with MAC at Dulles airport in Virginia on may 9th. This process is dragging. Had my makeup demo Thursday(July 10th) and is now waiting for my last interview if passed. I interviewed first with Liana Rodriguez from International Shoppes. Then waited for a long long time, end of June, to get a response. I don't know how anyone else's interview went cause i didn't see that many girls go. However, i did meet a lady at another interview whom i sent over to International Shoppes to do a interview with Liana and she got a rejection letter through email the next day. So i was assuming that since i didn't receive one i must have passed the first interview. I was pretty excited to know this and was waiting with the phone attached to my hip for Liana's phonecall. Finally i checked my email and she sent me information for my makeup demo. The demo was with Nicole Quinn(Senior Mac Travel Retail Amercias), Liana, and another International Shoppe Recruiter. I did a face-to-face with Nicole and the other recruiter. I WAS SO NERVOUS! The room was not lit well in lighting, but i did the best i could! It seemed like everything went fine though, I'm so eager I can't freaking sleep. Ughhhhhh. But they are opening either mid august or end of august. Any light by chance from anyone working with iShoppes or MACtramercias? Supposedly now, i'm waiting for a phone interview with Nicole's boss? She said it can take anywhere up from a week-2 weeks to hear back...a week down one more to go. Sigh, i'm gonna cry. But we had a really good convo while i was doing the demo part on my model. This is my dream, to be a permanent MUA for MAC. I'm gonna go crazy. I think the opportunity to work in the airport is so cool too. So i hope all goes well. Any tips or advice or other girls who are in the same process as i am, please share. Anyone who is also interviewing for Dulles MAC?
