I'm looking into taking a class this April in NYC. It's offered by Last Looks Makeup Academy and is a full day (9am - 6pm) just about the eyes. At the end of the course, they give you a 14-piece brush set.
The fee is $349. Steep at first glance, but not if you consider the course is 9 hours.
Has anyone had any experience with this school? I've e-mailed them numerous questions and they've been very friendly and encouraging in their responses, but ultimately, I'm a bit apprehensive about spending that much money, especially since I don't "do" makeup as a sidejob ... this would, in essence, be a $349 fee for a hobby (but such a fun hobby!)
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
