MAC Recycling Shades for Their Collections?

Is it just me, or does anyone else feel like MAC is recycling their shades and repackaging their collections? At times, the collections look like the same shades in different nifty packages. I haven't really been impressed with MAC's collections for quite awhile. I'm not fooled by all the cute packaging.

I have to agree that packaging is clever marketing. I still see people (idiots) paying up to $50US for Devil blush - Devil is a pro colour.... sheesh.....

However, I think at some point in time there are going to be suitable dupes for almost everything... its probably quite difficult to come up with new shades that dont already have something similar - Eyepopping, Bitter, Sharp for example.... I tend to think of certain collections as an inspiration for a new *look* as opposed to always looking for new colours.

That does make sense.

I find this alot also but you know there are only so many colours/textures MAC can make. Thats how I have to think about when I see a shadow thats like one shade lighter or darke or maybe has more glittter. It can be annoying though.
