yeah! I've been looking for one too. specific on make-up. looking at regular magazines are so boring sometimes... they keep teaching me how to do neutrals

I think I'd be interested in subscribing to the magazine but it'd be good to get some feedback first cuz the price for international subscription is rather steep. more than double for the US

I Love ALLURE - The Beauty Expert magazine

They actually have tear away pullout cards that you can put into a beauty file from their Beauty 101 topics that are the size of index cards. They always come with four of these on one page. Each issue has a different topic for the cards. They're fun! In the March 2008 issue, the Beauty 101 topic was on how to get the perfect spa pedicure.

This Mag is one of the best out there. Of course, I never throw my Allure Mags away so I never see the point of pullout cards, but whatever!

This ON MAKEUP Magazine looks pretty serious! I believe it will make Allure look like a joke. Unfortunately, it will only come out four times a year. Their first issue is complimentary if you write to them! That's awesome!

I received a complementary copy of On Makeup Magazine and was really disappointed. I was hoping for indepth product reviews and tutorials and instead I got a pretty magazine full of nice pictures but no tutorials. Still looking for a great MAKEUP magazine too.

Make-Up Artist Magazine

I just started subscribing to this one, havent recieved my first issue yet, but it looks great! check it out I think its only 25.00 for a yr subscription. You can see the issue online also. There is something on the website that says you can order 3 back issues for 15.00 and then get one free. So I dont know check it out and tell me what you think!!

O yea, it also has links to buy makeup books online. I got this website thru a salon catalogue that I purchase hair mags from, so I am hoping you can just order, and dont need like a licensed number or something..

You can always go on youtube & view different tutorials. Then practice... practice... practice.
Grab all your friends, anyone you can get your hands on (show me a female that would not want a makeover).
This is how you become really good in makeup & tricks such as contouring & blending. I can wear 5-6 shadows & you will have no idea. It all takes practice. Hey we all started from somewhere
