Can someone point me in the direction of advice on these topics? I bid on a 4/slot palette on eBay when it occurred to me "Why not check on MAC's website but I didn't find anything. I would only be interested in the 4/slot palettes.

Also, this whole depotting thing and B2M stuff...where can I find more info about this or can you wonderfuls give me some quick tips/pointers? Thanks SO much!!!!

the palettes aren't on the regular mac website, but they're on MAC Pro. you can order from there even if you aren't a pro member but only through their telephone line. there aren't any prices on the mac pro website, but i think the 15 pan eye shadow palettes are $12.50 or something like that.

the empty quads are $4 and the 15-palette is $12. they are only available at freestanding stores, pro stores and thru the customer service #800.

The 4-slot is super cheap...Under $5 I believe. Your best bet would be to order by phone. Go to macpro.com to find the phone number. Don't upgrade your shipping. My orders always arrive super super fast. This will save you money over bidding on Ebay any day.... I've seen the 15 slot palettes go for around $30 when they are actually $12.00.
But anyway, ordering from MAC by phone is so easy and the shipping is cheap.

There is a "find a store" tool on that website as well. Maybe there is a pro store near you. Also, some free standing regular MAC stores sell some of the pro products like the refill shadows and palettes. There is one near my home that does that...I almost had a heart attack when I discovered this...lol.

As far as depotting, I find the flat-iron method is the easiest. There are a lot of tutorials on youtube for this.

If you click on the "search" tab at the top of the page you can type in key words that will search the entire forum for the info you are seeking. You can also search within a thread as well. HTH!

If you don't mind who makes your four-slot palette, ELF sells a great one that MAC pans fit perfectly. It has a mirror and one of those little tiny sponge/brush things. It's a nice quality compact and is a steal for $1, IMO. I buy them for my UD shadows, which also fit perfectly.
