milani flare vs. mac firespot

i own the milani and have seen the firespot from the moonbathe collection, but can't remember well if they are totally alike or somewhat different... whichever, could someone please offer help. i plan to buy today.

I've only seen swatches of Milani Flare but imo, they are quite different. Flare is closer to MAC Coppering. Firespot is a very unique color.

They are similar in frostiness. Flare is a red-based orange, while Firespot is a yellow-based orange. Flare looks like a more pigmented version of Mythology. Firespot is closer to Mangomix shadestick, or your typical Halloween orange. HTHS!

i dont know about milani bu it DOES look exactley like the mediteranee NARS eyeshadow duo

I think Firespot is like the orange blushing cousin of Melon pigment....haha!

Firespot looks so orange in the pot, but goes this beautiful corally pink colour on me. I bought two because I love it so much

I'm not sure about the Milani. The L'Oreal HIP Flare (404) duo has an orange similar to Firespot. Similar, but different enough for me to justify buying Firespot yesterday. (I bought one for my mom, too.)

Firespot has a great goldness to it. I like it because i can wear it on the lid and in the crease and it looks from most angles like I'm wearing two colors: orangy gold on the lid and richer orange in the crease (an effect similar to Woodwinked on me -- I'm an NC43).

The HIP orange, if I remember correctly (I'm not with my cosmetics right now) is slightly deeper in the pan. And, while it has great color, it doesn't seem to have quite the punch and versatility of the MAC. Still a great color to have, though. I loved it like crazy until I met Firespot.

I went to look at the collection and for some reason amber lights and firespot look the same to me?? That's why I didn't pick it up?? Maybe I should have tried it on my eyes?

Hi, akirbyjewel. You might want to try it on. Firespot has a richer and much more distinct orange thing going on than Amber Lights, and I believe it's a cooler orange than the peach in Amber Lights. (I noticed that Shawna said it comes out corally pink on her

)
