Mineralize Skinfinish

Just a quick question about these as they all look different, some with a whole in the box and some without. Are the ones without the whole real? I thought they should have a whole?

This store had lots of things (also one of the above without the whole). A lot of the boxes don't look double fronted (if that's what you call them) mostly on the blushers.

My best guess is that they are all real. I have Metal Rock and So Ceylon; they both came in a box with no hole. I also have Shooting Star; I think this one had a hole in the box, but I'm not 100% certain.
Naked You has a hole in the box, as does my MSF Natural Dark.

I think it probably just depends on which collection or production run the MSF was from; the older ones seem to have no hole in the box but the newer ones do. And I think the MSF's are pretty difficult to counterfeit.

i got a stereo rose on ebay the other day and the box doesnt have a hole in it but it is definately real

the older MSFs seem to come in boxes without holes

they're real! It is impossible to fake a MSF because its too much hassle for counterfieters to fake them as they take ages to make and bake

...... my 'old' msfs don't have holes in the box

Because of the delicate nature of the msfs, MAC started making them with holes in the boxes with the lingerie collection. Any msfs manufactured before that had a regular box. It was a pain having to check the product before you even left the store to make sure it wasn't cracked. It happend to a lot of us here. I am pretty sure that all the ones listed are real. Two of them are probably from either high tea or goldplay.

The MSFs from the Gold Play collection LAST year had boxes that were closed in, which includes Stereo Rose, New Vegas, Goldbit, Metalrock, Porcelain Pink and Shimpagne. The boxes with the <i>holes</i> were used for Petticoat and Naked You which came out during Lingerie last December and since then.

they all look identical to my MSFs, boxes and all. I have boxes with holes and without as well.

The boxes for my Gold Deposit and Stereorose MSFs do not have holes too..unlike the newer releases..
