Bmmmmm...! I'm trying to make a good look with BLUE.. Of course blue shadow came to mind first, but blah... I didn't really like how plain / common this one turned out. I wanted something relatively neutral but striking. It felt difficult to create such a look with blue eyeshadow, without coming off looking too clownish. I tried red lips and pink lips but it still came off looking too over-done / clownish; and yet keeping my lips pale seemed to result in things being too chalky. Pink cheeks beneath the blue of my eyes seemed to clash, so I had to poweder that down.. Or could it be that I stooped to using the freaking £1 Constance Carrol shadow that I get at the newsagents? Usually seems OK for the price, but I should probably consider buying some quality blue makeups {I'm thinking shimmery sky blue with no green reflects - any recs?}
Blarh. Maybe I'm being too fussy..
Hokay! I used: ~
Nivea Visage Beauty Boost Day Cream [this stuff is a godsend, I swear!];
Vaseline on lips;
L'Oreal Infallible foundation mixed with L'Oreal True Match;
Maybelline Shimmer Mousse in Porcelain;
Lashings and lashings of MaxFactor 2000 calorie Mascara in Black on curled lashes;
Constance Caroll eyeshadow Light Blue (oh how embarrassing, hahaha!
);
Highlighter on inner corner of eyes and on cupid-bow;
A tiny smidgen of Barry M Glitter pencil on inner lower lid;
White eyeliner on outer waterline;
