I don't have a vanity and right now I have no place for one at my room or any place of my home.
Since my collection had outgrown it's case I had to find a solution. Thanks to the inspiration of many of the ladies who use plastic drawers, here's what I've done to give my collection a more spacious home.
The little drawers on the left are where I keep my brushes
The black drawers are my nails stuff
Now to the main event, my makeup collection which is 1 year old this month
Stuff to prime my face. Smashbox Photofinish in light and green. Clinique poreminimizer, shu uemura lash curler (backups, I'm not a freak eye lash lady it's just that they don't sell them in my country
), visine, tweezers and lipbalms.
Foundations, concealers, powders and contouring powders.
Eye palettes. MAC Pro palettes, holiday sets, Cult of Chery Colour Forms, Kat Von D and Ben Nye
Paint Pots, eyebrow stuff, mascaras, liners and false lashes.
NYX singles, Chanel palettes and quads and a lonely Lancome
Random nail stuff, empty pots and UD Velvet Rope liners. They don't fit where they should be and can't bring myself to take them out of the box.
Lip glosses MAC, Chanel and others.
Lipsticks MAC, Chanel, Clinique, Bobbi Brown, NYX, gloss Too Faced gloss palette and Lancome lipstick palette.
Pigment samples and holiday vials, MAC MES and a Metal-X shadow.
The samples in the bigger jars are the ones I've taken from my full sized pigments. I'm so clumsy I can easily picture myself dropping them, this way I won't have a heart attack.
MAC MSF's and blushes, Bobbi Brown blush and shimmer brick and Chanel blushes.
Brush rolls and Colour Forms bags and cases.
Random stuff. MAC brush cleansers, glitters, clown makeup and brushes, highlighters I don't use often and general makeup for school or Halloween.
So this is my storage system. I still long for a vanity but I think this is pretty good for now.
I've also posted in the traincase forum my collection in full detail if you want to know what something is.
