Nars Lip Lacquers

What do you all think of the Nars Lip Lacquers? Are they similar to the MAC lip lacquers or how are they different?

I saw a pic of Diablo in a magazine and it looked beautiful!! How do you apply this? Do you apply it with your finger or a brush? Are they sheer or opaque? How do you do touch-ups?

What's your fav shade?

I've never tried the MAC lacquers, so I can't tell you the difference. But they are not sheer at all - they're very pigmented and very thick. I usually apply them with the MAC 316 lip brush. They last a really long time, so touch ups aren't needed that often.

I have Baby Doll, which is a gorgeous light pink, similar to MAC Syrup lipstick, and Hot Wired, which a really hot pink with a blue iridescence. Chelsea Girls is also gorgeous, it's a nude similar to MAC Blankety.

Do you wear them over lipstick, or just on their own? Is it necessary to wear a liner with these to prevent bleeding? I will have to check these out when I go to Zurich tomorrow!!

I have a few, including Diablo. IMO, some are more a bit more pigmented than others, like Diablo, for instance. They are incredibly sticky, but they wear very well. ITA the packaging sucks, but I love them nonetheless. I use my fingers to apply, so I can control the amount better, but have a kleenex handy to wipr your fingers! My current favorite color is Vagabond, a shimmery nude. I've got Babydoll and Cabiria (I think that's how it's spelled) in my Sephora shopping bag waiting for my next order.

Well, I went to Zurich today and went by the Nars counter...to find an empty space in the department store! Yup, there's officially no more Nars in my country. Pathetic. Oh well, no more Nars for me - only swapping I guess.
