NC20 and i don't match up to Revlon Colorstay Buff OR Sand Beige?!

SFF makes me too oily, so i decided to switch over to Colorstay since everyone raves about it. I tried Buff first (the one that all the NC20s love) and it looked whiteish-grey on my skin. So, i went and exchanged it for Sand Beige and now this looks too light too!

The Sand Beige basically looks like my SFF would look if i mixed it with moisturizer...it "matches" but doesn't look that good

Do the Colorstay foundations just lack that deep golden look MAC has, or should i keep going darker? I'm frustrated since all of the other NC20 love this! lol

I had the same problem as you. I've tried both Buff & Sand Beige but the coloring seemed off. Then I found Golden Beige and that's an OK match but not perfect. I'm NC20-25 for reference. Golden Beige is still not yellow enough but its a better match than Sand beige

See, I have the opposite problem...

I can mix Buff & Sand Beige and get a great match... but SFF in NC20 is too yellow/orange.

yes golden beige isn't yellow enough for me. the revlon colorstay has spf which is probably why u look greyish white. i'm giving it another try (gonna try rich tan and tone it down with lotion, i am nc25-30ish) and if it sucks, i'm returning it. =\

I have the same problem as well! But I'm around a NC 30-NC 35 and my problem is more of finding a shade that has enough yellow/olive undertones. I find that a few of the darker shades in Revlon gives me a slight orange cast. So currently, to use it up, I mix Sandy Beige with a moisturizer (creating a nice tinted base) and then buff in with the right EDM foundation! Loving it =)
