Need you guys help

For my daughters birthday we have decided to get her MAC
She is 28 year old with 3 kids and going to nursing school so this will be a treat for her. She has one kit that I gave her at Christmas but that is almost gone.

So what I was thinking was getting her the 15 Pro palette.

Now the tricky part. I thought we could get her maybe woodwinked and carbon or black tie ( not sure which help?)and a highlighter (which one?) and then maybe the fafi 1 collection and put those in the palette and then a gift card for her to pick more.

However I am not sure about the woodwinked, carbon/black tie (which one or at all)and the Fafi or hightlighter (which one would you pick) are there be better choices? Or we can do something all together different Need help...

She is fair comp. brown eyed and brown hair gal.

Aww what a great gift! I would definantly get Carbon and Woodwinked. Those are great basic colors that everyone needs. For highlighters try something like Nylon, Shroom or my personal fave Ricepaper! As far as the Fafi colors, those are in their own quad that can't be taken out unless you (or someone else) depots them. Honestly I think you can find many dupes of the Fafi quads on the perm line and place them in the 15 palette.

Or even better, if she has access to the same mac store you do, you could get her a gift card and put it in the pallet. If not I would skip the Fafi quad, and choose some fun colors from the perm line in veluxe pearl finishes. And as far as carbon or black tied, I'm a sucker for sparkle (I'm the same age as your daughter with similar coloring) and I love black tied! I love woodwinked, so that's an awesome choice! For a highlighter I would go for Nylon or even Naked Lunch. Nylon is definitely bolder then Naked Lunch as a highlighter.

Carbon and woodwinked are such staples! I would also get Shroom or Phloof as a highlighter. What an awesome gift idea!

Carbon and woodwinked are great colors that she'll use a LOT. I love Shroom or Vanilla for highlighting.

I also think you can skip the Fafi e/s. I have both quads and they're not very impressive (except for the color Hey - I'm a sucker for golden/champagne tones).
