Hello ladies.

Im a NC42 in studio tech .iIbrought a NC42 Concealer over the internet as the pricing was alot cheaper, but it doesn't match my skin tone and isnt the same colour as the studio tech. Its a little orangy so i have to mix it with a ivory concealer that my mother uses..but then i end up totally patchy *if you look at this picture you wil see light patches and look a little "grey"!!*

I'm fed up of mixing products to get my correct shade!! Do any of you have any tips/advice/methods?

Would really appreciate it!! Thank you xx

I would not get the concealer from Ebay since you got the fake product. I would get it from maccosmetics.com and get the concealer that's the same shade as your skintone. Try the Studio Finish concealer. I heard it's great for your dark circles and covering your blemishes.

Im pretty sure its not fake as it was from a power seller from the uk, and the whole reason i didnt get it from mac was because i couldnt afford to! The concealer is studio finish and as far as i know it is my "skin tone" as i had 2 MUA test my colouring and they both came up with nc42. I Assumed that nc42 is my colour for everything but seems not

Unfortunately I've bought fake MAC from two powersellers (66pandorasbox99 and tobobos) with 100% positive feedbacks on eBay UK a few months ago...

They refunded me. Here's the list of eBay sellers who sell counterfeit MAC here http://specktra.net/f257/

Depends if your willing to try something other than MAC. Perscriptives do a custom blend foundation which they can match your skin tone exactly. It might cost a little more, but you wouldn't waste money on keep having to re-buy concealers & foundations.

Try NW35 or NW40 as a concealer if you can see a lot of darkness / purply bluey circles.

Studio Finish concealer runs a little darker than the others too. Ideally pop into mac to get matched up.

I use NC 43 Studio Stick w/ NC 35 Select Moisture Cover-up under my eyes. I use NW 35 Select MoistureCover if I don't wear foundation b/c it looks more natural.

Hope this helps! If all else fails, try Bobbi Brown or MUFE
