Okie Dokie Smokey - 1st FOTD (WOC friendly)

first fotd...or night rather, as im about to hit the town

nothing fancy, just simple n kinda smokey. anybody could do this.



FACE:

Coastal Scents Diva Defense Primer
Bare Minerals in Medium Tan
NARS Taj Mahal blush
Black Radiance Concealer in Iced Latte (cheap from walmart lol, comes in a stick)
Too Faced bronzing powder in Sun Bunny


EYES:

MAC Improper Copper cream colour base
NYX eyeshadow trio in Ceramic. I used the first 2 colors of that trio.
MAC Provence pigment as a highlight
MAC Blitz n Glitz fluidline
Maybelline Collassal mascara (the fat yellow one and my absolute favorite mascara ever lol)

i was gonna apply false lashes....buuut i didnt feel like it. i'm sure it would have added more drama. hell i'm just going to a bar lol.

LIPS:

MAC lip conditioner as a base
MAC Heatherette lipglass in Bonus Beat MIXED with NYX lipgloss in Hot Fudge

thanks! u CAN achieve a smokey look without MAC lol. that NYX trio was like 4 bucks and VERY pigmented. I used Too Faced Teddy Bear Brushes and Lime Crime brushes (which are pretty good, but the blusher brush is the only one that sucks monkey balls).

it looks better and more intense in person. my camera isn't picking it up very well. the flash is whitening it out a bit.

i need to figure out how to get my camera working so it doesn't wash me out so much lol. the flash is so bright it kinda lessens the depth of color. oh well, but thanks!!
