OMG! I've found something darker than Feline and Blacktrack!

I am amazed!

Yesterday I went to my local Inglot store to pick up another skin primer and saw they had some new gel eyeliners in fantastic colours...

From memory they had red, black, brown (dark and mid), blue (light, dark and mid), purple (light, mid and dark, white, green (dark and mid), teal, and I'm not sure what other colours. All of these colours are matte.

I asked for a sample of the black one as they seemed really creamy and I wanted to compare it to my blacktrack. Well, I tried it today and I am amazed! I absolutely love it!!!!

Below are swatches... Feline is on the left, the Inglot gel eyeliner in the middle and Blacktrack on the right. Pics are clickable.



And this was what it looked like on. Sorry if it's not a good indicator but I was having a lazy day and didnt want to do thick eyeliner lol!


Oh, and I applied this at midday today and it's now 11pm and there has been no smudging, fading or flaking!

The MA did warn me that I would need waterproof makeup remover to get this off though, as once it dries (55 seconds apparently) it's on for the long haul!

Nice! Long lasting super inky blackness...

Looks like I'll be hitting up an Inglot stall. I tend to eye their stuff from afar but but never actually go in and browse/swatch much.

just a note, I took this off last night with Cleanse Off Oil and it came off no problems

^yeah oils and creams are the best to go when removing eye make-up. I use coconut oil or olive oil (natural stuff) to remove my make-up ..and the estee lauder soft clean cleanser (you just rub the cream on your eyes and it's off!!) ...I went and got some stuff from shu uemura line the other ..they have great stuff as well

Ok, well since I was sooo in love with this eyeliner I went back and bought two more today...

I bought the dark brown and a dark purple (kinda like macroviolet but matte)

I also got a sample of the teal coloured one...

I wonder if these gel eyeliners are anything like the ones that Coastal Scents sells? I have the black one from CS and it is indeed a dark, inky black.

The ones you got at Inglot - what does the packaging look like?

The packaging isnt glass like the fluidlines but instead is plastic. It is a wider jar than the fluidlines, maybe as wide as the paint pots? I will take a picture when I get home from work...

I recently got the white one - they really are amazing
They last longer on me than fluidline does (on the waterline)
Cheaper than mac too

That being said, I love the CS gel liner. I think it is a great quality product.

The Inglot liners look and sound lovely. Pity we cannot get them here.

M·A·C's old cake eyeliner in black is a lot blacker than Blacktrack but it can't be used for tightlining. I do however love if for general lid lining.
