Pink Glitter and Pinked Mauve

I saw this on ebay. I liked the colour but something makes me think that the pigment is fake. I don't know

I don't know why I'm risking it buying mac on ebay but it's so much cheaper.

Is there a list where you can check what pigments are out? That would be very useful

I don't know if it's true or not, but if you're in doubt, ask for more pics of the jar

I'm not sure, but I think them saying Pinked Mauve is rare is misleading because I just bought a full jar of it at counter a few weeks ago.

Colours in photos mean nothing - see the thread The danger of using colour in photos to identify products as counterfeit. There's a reason that thread's a sticky

There aren't enough photographs to say anything whatsoever about the authenticity of the pigment and glitter being offered. I haven't yet seen a fake glitter though, only pigments.

Actually, it's not that misleading because Pinked Mauve is a LE pigment from the Sweetie Cake collection which was released in April this year. To find it at a counter is quite rare since it was a popular pigment and part of the "prom" collection (i.e. would most likely sell out by prom or soon thereafter). To find it on eBay isn't that rare, tho, so they are pushing it a bit.

hmm, well i've received it now any way. I'm not that impressed with the amount or the colour.
