Purple Past (Edited & Updated)

This is a look I had used a while ago, before I ever knew Spektra even existed. Since my last post on the green flopped like the biggest failure I'd ever had in my life.. I figured I'd go back to basics. Hopefully this look will go over better than the green one did.

Used:
Cover Girl "Purple Pop"
Maybelline Shadow Stylist "Rich Violet"
Sally Girl "Burgundy"
Savy Infinity Long wear eyeliner "Plum"

Edit:
Ok, I took some advice and redid everything. I tried shaping my brows as much as I dared, I used a primer and added mascara. Is this any better? Worse? No different at all?

I added a hint of black eyeliner over the plum, and used wet n wild mega eyes cream shadow "Wild Orchid" for the primer

Re: Purple Past

Pretty.
I would just suggest using a primer to get the colors to show up more (assuming the camera didn't wash it out, but that's definitely possible), add some mascara, and maybe shape your brows a bit.
Really pretty look though, purple goes great with your brown eyes =]

Re: Purple Past

purple looks great on you.
I would agree with a primer, it lets you get the most out of you're shadow.
I also agree with the mascara comment, it will help make the look look finsihed and frame you eyes nicely.

I think if you brought the color up a little higher, and not so far out it would really compliment you're eye shape and open up the eyes more!

Good job, keep em coming!

I'm gonna do those things now and see how the results come up
Primer, Mascara, and Shaping (not sure how much I can shape without getting sketti-string brows)

Ok.. so does anyone this this is better, worse, or does it just look the same? What should I have done differently if thats the case?

Wow. Even more pretty. Still very soft, but more polished. Very nice. I like that you posted the updated pictures. You can really see how the little changes you made impacted the look.
