Recommendations for colours, please.

I have trouble choosing makeup colours that suit me.

I can't figure out of I am cool, warm or neutral. I think I am cool but I don't really know what that means. Should I wear 'cool' colours? If so, what are some examples of cool colours?

I am just getting into MAC. I think that they have a fantastic selection of products and colours but that makes it all the more daunting! I'm not sure how I post a pic but there's one in my profile and one should appear next to this post.

I am so grateful to anyone who replies as I'm in a real makeup rut and hate spending loads of £££ on stuff that just doesn't look good on me.

Cool colours would be blues, greens, and purples.
