"Sold Out Items" Not Always True

I placed an order with the 800 Pro number and I wanted the Illusionary eyeshadow duo. I order two of them. When I received my order, one was missing and the other one was craked. I called and the eyeshadows were replaced. But the eyeshadows were sold out according to the mac site and the macpro site when I called for the replacement.

I think MAC must set some aside for replacements etc. for a certain amount of time. Or get one shipped from anoher branch that still has them in stock.

I agree with Vicky. I placed an order from Nordstroms and one of the item came from w.in the state but another came from CA. So I guess whatever branch has it in stock ships them(???)
