I'm at a loss, guys. My stepmother chose now to rant on the phone about stuff she doesn't like about me and past problems I was not aware of. Not that it matters, but a lot of it is petty. Tomorrow is really important interview that she knows about. Stuff like this is always happening between us; I end up apologizing (through the urging of my father) and she goes about her merry way. I'm so tired of dealing with this. I'm always being accused of being ungrateful, selfish, etc. What should I do? I don't want to cut off my father/family (who think this woman is a Godsend), but- whenver I'm around her, my stomach churns. I don't know what to do any more.
She has helped me in the past, but every time she helps me, when something she doesn't like happens, she throws it in my face how great she's been towards me. It's been like this since she figured out that she can't replace my mother.
