There was a report on a current affairs show here last night about strawberry.net, with a Dermalogica representative stating that 100% of strawberry.net's Dermalogica stock is fake, fake, fake.

Given that, I wouldn't touch any of their other stock with a 10ft pole, and that goes for all their subsidiary and affiliate sites.

There's a lot of interesting discussion about the Today Tonight report on the Vogue Australia forums here. You should be able to see Today Tonight's report here

I can tell you without any shadow of a doubt that the discontinued M·A·C lipstick I bought from strawberrynet is the genuine product in perfect unused condition.

I bought a MAC palette from them and it was real, but generally I feel their prices are too much for old stock.

I've bought some MAC and Dermalogica from them - the dermalogica was obviously fake and rancid to boot, and the MAC lipsticks were 3/4th used.

Yerk.

I have purchased MANY items off strawberrynet including a lot of MAC. It is genuine MAC products - I was a sceptic the first time so bought one thing and verified the product code/barcode with MAC in the US. They actually emailed me and told me it was a distribution channel that they use - the whole Estee Lauder company does.

Hope this helps.

I was lucky enough to procure a Parrot eyeshadow, Coco pigment and Coco Beach pigment from strawberrynet.com two weeks ago! And for far less than Australian retail.

Absolutely authentic - I already own all of them and passed the Parrot along to someone who desperately wanted it.

I have ordered numerous makeup items from this site and have never been disappointed.

I've bought some long discontinued Chanel palettes and they were authentic. VHTF items at that. I wouldn't be suprised though, counterfiting has gotten out of control. Heck even Wal-mart is getting sued by Gucci for selling counterfit merchandice in their Sam's Club stores.

docmaria - is it just luck of the draw or do you check the site regularly for new stuff? I always only seem to see the same old Cyber and Modum lipsticks week after week, month after month!

It was a mixture of luck (I was procrastinating on a Saturday evening when I should have been writing an article) and a mixture of frequent (at least once a fortnight) perusal of the site.

But when they restock MAC, most of it "flies off their shelves" within a day!

I reached the 10% loyalty discount level a couple of years ago.

Strawberrynet.net has now instructed lawyers to take action against Today Tonight for their report.

The official answer (which comes from a director at Estée Lauder) is that EL brand products for sale at strawberrynet are genuine but grey market so not an authorized outlet.
