Studio Finish Concealer Shades

If I wear NC37 in MAC foundations, what shade would be best for spot concealing in Studio Finish? It seems it's either NC35 or NC42. I just plan on using the concealer with MSF. The lady at the counter gave me a sample of NC42 because she said it runs light and she thinks NC35 would look grey on me, but the NC42 sample looks so dark!

NC35 in which foundation? Not all NC35s are created equal, either.

What a dilemma! I'm surprised MAC doesn't have NC40 in this available, but how about mixing both NC35 and NC42 together? Or depending what you're trying to conceal, NW35 or NW40 is available too..

Just a note though -- I've noticed NW's run slightly darker. From my experience -- I'm NC30/35 (when I tan) and I have to drop either NW25 or NW20 for concealers..
