Hiya guys,

I'm looking for some information. Has anyone used both the Studio fix fluid and select foundations?

I'm trying to choose a new foundation and I've narrowed it down to these two on the basis that I prefer
-matte
-liquid

What I'd like to know it which in your opinion is best and how they differ.

I would be choosing NW15 on the basis that I'm very very pale and slightly warm skinned.

Thank you!

If you are choosing NW15 I would go for Select SPF. The colour is slightly pinker. All Studio Fix fluids, even the NW range is still pretty yellow, and might not suit you.

Ok.... studio fix fluid is a lot thicker meaning more coverage. depending on the texture of your skin, it will look very nice, but if you just need a lighter coverage that will even out skin tones, select spf is great. I really recommend trying both out, because although they are both liquids, they are quite different. If you have large pores, select spf will "sink" into them and be noticeable. This is what I have noticed when trying it on customers. I really think you should go to your local mac and try them out, but if you are not near one, go for the studio fix fluid. It's the most universal foundation mac has I believe. Select spf is beautiful, but discriminating. HTH!!

I have really small pores so I'm going to go with the NW15 select. It's important to me that it's a warm colour, I find most foundations are far too yellow.
Thanks for your indispensable advice!

I love both. I have oily to combination skin.

Select SPF 15 is a bit sheerer and is a great foundation for every day for me.

Studio Fix Fluid has an awesome coverage, great if you want to wear a bit more or go out.

Both work very well with my skin type, no breakouts at all.
