Tips for applying makeup on very dry nose

Hi Girls,

Just looking for some feedback on applying foundaiton/powder on someone who has a very dry & red nose. Worked on someone today whose skin around their nose was very very red & nearly cracked & I felt a little bit stumped by it to be honest. I had to cover it & tone down the redness as it was very red but on doing so found the makeup was really caking on it it was so dry. Would appreciate any tips in case I come across this again!

Ohh this happens to me! I had a peely nose because I am always picking at my pores (sick huh). Basically, I exfoliate with a warm almost hot washcloth and then sooth with some nice lotion.
