Hi everyone!
I'm doing make-up for my cousin's fashion label on Saturday. I haven't had any formal training, just a great LOVE for make-up and do relatives/friends make-up on occasions.

I need tips/pointers on the basics of make-up for photography, techniques, must-haves, product recs etc...

I know she'll probably want to have bold make-up, so any colour reccommendations for eyeshadows/blush/lipstick or gloss would be great!!

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

My best tip for events where pictures are going to be involved is NO SUNSCREEN. Anything that has SPF in it (foundation, concealer, powder, moisturizer, etc) is going to reflect light off (if there are flashes involved) and make the face look lighter than the rest of the body. However, there are products out there that this won't happen. They are usually labeled "photo friendly" and contain different types of sunscreen. Good luck!!

Yes, this is a great suggestion,.. also having done some professional stuff just recently that involved photoshoots,.. the Industry Discussion, saved me a lot of heartache and thankfully everything came out perfect. Those ladies know what they are talking about. The foundation/powder is VERY important.
