what additional brushes?

hi

i've been using the same MAC eye brushes for the last few years: 217, 228, & 275. I feel it is time to move on & expand my collection- of course to brushes i would really need. i'm going to be getting 209, soon...

i couldn't think of any other necessary brushes; it seems as though these 4 are the only brushes i would really need. could anyone tell me, if there are others that are must-haves?

Well. It depends on what you want the brushes to specialize in?

i'm thinking of something in the lines of blending, shading etc.
for example, there are so many blending brushes out there, and i don't know if my 217 does the same job as the other ones

I think the 219 is a perfect addition to everyone's collection!

The 272 is a good shader. I also think the 219 is nice to have. It's perfect for smudging/creating a smoky lashline.

#242 is a must have, at least one.

I agree with the 224 suggestion! It is my only full sized brush at the moment and worth every penny.

239 is my fav eye brush I love love love it! 219 comes in a close 2nd.

It sounds like I definitely need the 219, and 239 sounds like a definite potential. I will also have a look at all the other ones mentioned in this thread.

Still not sure about the 224, though, as I don't know the difference between it & the 217, yet.
