While I prefer my Shu curler, my Japonesque one is great too, and pretty cheap, I think I paid $10 for it (the pocket curler)

revlon all the way..i have the gold one..it isnt as good as the silver one is..i've used that damn thing for four years now and it's still my fav! lol

what's the difference between a shu and a shiseido?? i heard they were both the same - is that true??

Yep...not many know that shu and shiseido get their curlers from the same manufacturers. So if you can't get shu, then shiseido is just as good. Do consider your eye shape when buying it tho.

As a MA I've found that my fab shu curler is not perfect for every single eye shape. girls with either very deep set eyes, or large eyes which curve in a lot need the MAC curler. The MAC one has a deeper curve to it while the shu is a little more flat.

A lot of people say Shu and Shiseido are pretty good, but for a drugstore one, I'd say Revlon does its job quite nicely.
