i know there is a 'if you have... then you don't need...' thread going... but i think it's a lot easier to just show you guys what i have...

i already have (neutrals) :
- sable
- mulch
- satin taupe
- embark
- antiqued
- beauty burst
- cork
- espresso
- woodwinked

i'm considering :
- handwritten
- folie
- soft brown
- saddle
- swiss chocolate
- tempting
- bronze
- brown down

i want to build more of myy neutrals palette (not including highlighter) and please rec me some staples.. thanks!!

Great choices already! My only rec would be all that glitters, its a staple in my makeup bag, one of the few I've had to replace. It's similar to woodwinked, but lighter. Makes a great wash, it completes the "barely did my makeup but I look great." look.

I'd say get Patina. I know it's not one of the colors you're considering but I love the way it makes the eye look absolutely gorgeous without adding any color (this sounds weird...

) ok how about this: It pops out the eye but you look as if you have no eyeshadow on, that it's your own natural skintone that compliments your eyes... (is this better?)

Great list! Ones that come to mind for you are...

Retrospeck and Jest I just recently added those two to my collection.

And soft brown is really nice I use it more often than I thought I would.

I'd also add Amber Lights. And I don't know if pinks count as neutrals, but I ALWAYS use them on brides. Malt, Girlie, colors like that.

And I'd add some lid colors like Era and Tete-a-Tint (although u can get by with Soft Brown instead of T-A-T for a liiiitle while -- especially if it's just for home use).

^^ oh wow thank you.. that's really informative..

can i get away with all that glitters - bisque or kid as lid color?? as in for NC35...

oh yeah for sure! Bisque on you would work for both lid OR a subtle highlight. Era would work for lid too!

I know everyone loves All That Glitters, but I don't own it. But it looks pretty when I see it in FOTDs...

Copperplate is one that at first glance you may not think of as a neutral but it's such a stunner as a crease color
Soft Brown is a must and just so lovely - you can use it in almost any look
Brule is a great wash for the lid and as a base for mattes and other neutrals
Shroom!
Glamour Check from Starflash collection if you can get your hands on it
Go, the same applies
Ricepaper DEF
Sketch I use consistently as a crease color!
Alternatively for Sketch, 100 Strokes from BBR is a bit more neutral!

Hope this helps!
