What would you do if I was in your chair?

I know what I like to use and what I think looks good on me, but it's always fun to see what other people would use on me. So after lurking for a while and finally joining, figured this would be my first post. Here's a couple pics. What e/s, piggies, lippies, lipglasses would you use on me if you were to make me over day or night? And I've been thinking about dying my hair, so throw in a hair color rec if your feelin frisky.

For your look, I'd try soft pink colors:

Apricot Pink pigment, some Dazzleray or Jardin Aires for highlighting your eyes, and Tan and Smoke Signal for depth. For e/s, I'd try a few neutral shades with some plum undertones like Twinks and Sable, and then Jest or Naked Lunch for highlight. I think black eyeliner will look too harsh on your pretty, delicate features, so I'd try something like Orpheus Kohl or Buried Treasure Powerpoint Pencil.

For blush, pink or peach shimmer would look fantastic on you: Hint of Peach, NARS Orgasm (of course, it looks great on everyone), Northern Lights or Glissade MSF, or maybe NARS Multiple in Maldives. Benefit's Dandelion powder looks great for a nude and healthy glow. If you like bronze colors, maybe something light and not too overpowering: a soft dusting of Global Glow MSF, or Emote blush... I think Softdew Beauty Powder would look gorgeous on you!

For lips, I'd say you can never go wrong with Viva Glam V. Barely Lit lipstick and Hug Me are great, as well as the Perfectly Pink lipglass.

LOL, that's a lotta recs but you have such pretty features I had to rummage through my own make-up bags to see what I think would look smashing on you.

i would go for some pink shades, perhaps some pale lips and dark eyes. I think the smoke signals stuff would be gorge on you the gentle fume eye palette and illicit lipglass would be lovely. Angel lipstick would be lovely on you. defo smoky eyes though. You would suit some lighter highlights a nce caramel shade. But you look amazing already so i wouldn't worry to much you look naturally pretty xx

First, I want to say you really don't need any improvement. You already are a pro at makeup and your hair.

If you want a change, I would use charcoal brown eye liner and smudge it. Also, I would apply e/s around your crease and put a high lighter shade too. You have delicate features, so I would not put loud colors on you. The reason I say this is that people with delicate features can be easily over powered by strong e/s colors. But, if you had to use them, apply with precision and blend extremely well.

Your hair is a very pretty color. It's perfect. Runway models are actually getting away from highlights and all over color. Natural color is unique and more in style right now.

If you really just can't stand to not color it, please, don't allow someone put color all over it. It may make your eyes, features, and make up, fade out. Also, it's a major up keep. I have seen girls from High School that had beautiful hair color like yours color it once and I never saw their natural hair color again. Never. All I saw was blonde hair and not their beautiful eyes, skin or features. I was sad.

Hairstyle can actually bring out your hair color and your features more than anything. I would add a bangs and change up the length to give the hair more movement.

If you did want to go with a change in color. I would add only a few highlights. I do mean a few. Highlights can get where they look like a solid color too. Then, I get sad again. I think about my friends in High School. Their natural color hair was last seen when they were 16 and replaced with brassy shades of blonde. I am sad again.

Aww you guys are sweet!! Thank you for all the great recs. I'm just beginning to build my mac collection. Got a lot of pigments (samples, of course) and starting to buy e/s, lipsticks, and lipglasses. I've got a few of the things you mentioned and I'll definately check out the stuff you recommended. And thank you for the sweet compliments!

I'm definately going to check out smoke signals since 2 of you said it would look good, I've been eyeballing them lately anyway! And Sparkling, I think you've talked me out of dying my hair, I was gonna go with a chocolate brown with caramel highlights, but I think I'll wait. I am going to cut my bangs like you said though. I used to have bangs, but they grew out, and I miss them. I don't like my forhead lol.

You've got kind of All-American kind of face. I'd probably go with something golden for your hair, wavy and airy.

If I were doing you up for, say, a night on the town, I'd go for something like this...

[eyes]
Pearl ccb (over entire lid, inner corners of eye & browbone)
Fresco Rose (over entire lid, lower lashline)
Mink Pink e/s (over outer 2/3 of lid)
Paradisco e/s (inner 1/3 of lid)
Texture e/s (outer 1/3 crease, lower lashline)
Waveline f/l (I'd go with a cute winged/cat eye)
Blooz k/l (for waterline)
Zoomblack mascara

[lips]
Pink Edge lg/p
Masque l/s
Wondershine 3D-glass

[cheek]
Peachtwist sheertone blush
