which brush is authentic?

As I can see that there is a major difference between these two brushes. But I'm not sure which one is authentic or are they both faux or both authentic?
Someone, please help.

My 190... I think the crimp at the bit where the ferrule meets the handle on mine is a bit of an anomaly.





compared to the brushes you have posted - the top one looks closer to the real thing, but the text on yours looks a little different. Are you able to post a close up of the silver text at all?

To me the one on the bottom looks like the real thing but to be honest im not good either at spoting fakes.

Like someone else said, I'm not an expert at spotting fakes 100%, but the actual brush part and the color pattern of the bristles on the bottom one looks the most like mine (maybe not as much black)...and I know mine is authentic b/c it was purchased at a store.

I think they're both fake. I have the 190 and the ferrule looks more like the top one, but the brush look wrong. The bottom one looks like an obvious fake to me.

The one I posted (mine) was actually purchased from MAC directly, so I have pretty good authority it's real

The ferrule has always mystified me a bit, as it's different to all of my other MAC brushes.
