I am really interested in trying this brand (colors) but it is sooooo expensive. I have been swapping etc for some pieces but I am almost "giving away the farm"

I own the YSL Bayadere All Over Powder (LE) and I love it! I use it as an e/s, blush & bronzer.

i'm not too into that brand- i find their colours are too proper for me. They aren't as colourful as MAC. My friend had a makeover from YSL for our school formal, it was nice, but nothing spectucualr or anything...

I've got 2 lipsticks:
Rouge Pur Transparent -> sheer color, rose scent is nice, but can be annoying after a while, doesn't last very long, wouldn't buy that one again, since it's too "unspecial" for that price.

Rouge Vibration -> very beautiful, vibrant color

, creamy texture, same rose scent, you get a very small amount for the price, but the colors have that glowing vibrant shimmer, so that I may buy again in a diff. color

A friend bought the e/s duo for prom, I applied it for her ^^ over a base and the colors are very intense, easy to blend and lasted the whole night. Since they have many beautiful e/s colors I might also pick one up, but yeah, YSL is quite expensive, but I'd say the e/s are really worth the money and I like the shimmering black packagings a lot

I just love Touche Eclat (concealer/highlighter, gorgeous under eyes) - I think it's really worth the money.

I also just got the Jaipur palette and like it very much. I've heard from others they found it nothing special and over-priced, but I really like it - it gives pale skin a lovely apricot shimmer.

Oh, and I think YSL's nail polishes are gorgeous - on me, they last a whole week (no other brand accomplished that).

Ysl

Another rec for the Touche Eclat. It really does help in the undereye area, as a concealer, and as a highlighter. It's very expensive, but definitely worth the price.

I LOVE the mascara effet cils faux, it gave me lashes like no other mascara ever did, ther ewas a small downside: it's hard to get it off, and it tends to crumble a bit at the end of the day, and that's not nice when you wear contacts.

I appreciate everyone's responses....I just traded a very rare MAC palette for a BNIB YSL blush....I hope it's worth it
