Zodiac Series: Cancer the Crab

A friend of mine likes to do photography for fun. She asked me to do the makeup for a zodiac series she's starting. We started with Cancer. She wanted me to do something with red, black, and white and this is what we came up with.

Eyes
Maybelline Voluptuous Mascara
Wet N Wild Liquid eyeliner in black
NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk
White Wet N Wild Eyeshadow
Red eyeshadow from Coastal Scents 88 Shimmer palette
C5 from CS Creative Me Palette
Urban Decay Perversion

I later added a Wet N Wild Cherry Frost to her lips.

I think that the first picture with the neutral lips lets the colors on the eyes stand out a bit more. Since you guys are doing astrology themed photo shoots, have you had the chance to read Parkers' Astrology? It's a great resource that should give you lots of inspiration.

Thank you so much for the feedback. Looking back at the photos I agree with you on the lip thing. I'll have to look into Parkers' Astrology.
