Enjoy your haul! To you (and others) who bought Amorosa: do you think it'll suit cool-toned people with fair skin?
I'm into that brown lip trend at the moment, so I'm stepping a way from my usual pinky nudes and berry tones, and although I've already gone swatching, I just don't know. I totally want it because it looks fab on the pics I've seen here, but maybe it's not right for me. Might purchase Reveuse as an alternative. Intrepide sounds great in your review, but my swatch in store looked quite coral-toned, hopefully it was the lighting.
Yes, I do because it's not too deep or opaque. You can encourage the brown by using a brown lip liner but you can also encourage the berry by pairing it with a
berry/burgundy lip liner.

Great haul. So glad you're loving everything.

That's just unbelievable

What's up w/Saks----enough already!!!
I hope you love Deep Purple---it dries to a pretty stain, and like Ash said, you can deepen it as much as you want. The opposite end---the high shine gloss looks
great over it. I happen to love this product and don't know why I haven't tried them before now.
I think after much travail it is getting here Monday or Tuesday and I got l"adoree too. I did look at the other colors in the double ended gloss line and none of them spoke to me as much as Purple. So far.

I had a hard time applying mediteranée, very thick, lots of bubbles and uneven spots. Hopefully next time I can get it to work better because it is a beautiful shade.
I'm used to bubble with Chanel polishes, especially when the nail isn't smooth.

I can't stop wearing Lavanda, such a pretty shade!
Looks great on you! I have it on my toes right now.
Well, after my third of three half hour phone calls with Saks (first, correcting wrong shipping address) (second noting that they had shipped it anyway to where I was not and FedEx had quote" left it on the porch" of a building without a porch in the midst of a busy city-- in other words ON THE STREET) (third correcting that they had next canceled my entire order complete with discounts without my permission) they are finally overnighting it to me, hopefully, for delivery Monday or Tuesday. And did I mention the lengthy quiz for a free trip to the Bahamas sale pitch that you could not opt out of -- prior to getting to speak to customer service? In any case, I am sure I will love it. I checked out all of the other colors in this product line first to see if I would prefer a different color-- but no it was this one. So dramatic. I bet it looks gorgeous on you. And I will report back hopefully that it has finally arrived in the next few days. Oh, boy. Now I am going to have to try Veruschka. Team green.
What a horror story, I hope you complain to someone. Hope you get your things soon.

Finally able to get the shadows to work for me. I can't apply them directly... I have to use a synthetic paddle type brush. I used Cle de Peau's concealer brush which worked well. LR all over, Caroube on outer V. You can still see where I went a little heavy handed and wasn't able to blend out the shadow in time.

Thanks, Ernie. It's what they call a Third world problem and it makes me feel a wee bit guilty that I am spending not only $$ but time on makeup given all that is going on for people today. But yes, they certainly heard from me. Finger crossed it will work out.

I've been playing with some of my Stylos the last 2 days. Laurier Rose and Campanule yesterday; Azulejo and Campanule today. I feel like a peacock today!

Olivine remains my only untried. I've been loving them all, and have been able to blend- if you work very quickly, and one eye at a time.

Anybody willing to post a pic with Olivine on their eye? None of the pictures I found online really do it justice.

This was the shade I was most excited about, but initial swatching at the counter made it look pretty muddy. Anyone willing to try and change my mind?
