Well shoot, that really stinks. Sorry. I have a problem with them with two of my cards if I ship to any address other than my billing. And since things get stolen from my billing address, that's super annoying.

Oh that blows---big time. I think they did that to someone else over a debit card which is so ridiculous since that's as good as cash---it's sound money!!!! What aboutSaks sucks! They called me to say there is an issue with my payment and since I don't have any credit cards and had no other way to pay them besides my debit card they're canceling my balls. I am going to have to call my bank and find out what's up since I have more than enough in my account, they had all the correct info and I just used my card to fill up my car and buy some mascara at Sephora.
Paypal? That might work. It would be worth it to set up an account.

I always have divergent billing and shipping addresses. I ordered boots from Saks last night. My billing address is a totally different state than my shipping address.
My boots will arrive tomorrow.

Yes! It doesn't change.............for hours. I don't get shiny though so maybe another opinion may be needed although others said it stayed the same on them as well.

Nay, I am sorry that this happened. Did you exceed the bank set limit of what you can charge on any given day/ A similar thing happened to me a year ago. I bought some furniture which costs several thousand dollars and then later attempted to use my debit card for something else and was declined. I called the bank and they removed "the limit" and the second charge went thru.Saks sucks! Not that I know of, I don't think my credit union has a limit. I've bought plane tickets and then turned around and bought clothes and what not later the same day and never had a problem which was far more money than my mascara and gas. Lol

With the upcoming holiday season upon us, please keep in mind those of us who have debit cards, there is a limit to the amount that may be spent on a daily basis. It sucks, and the amount depends on the history of the account. I literally had more then enough funds to have covered several $$$ powder. Yet, Nordy's sent me an email stating my debit card would not accept charge for ONE of the $$$ powder. So they canceled the order.
I did some digging, it was the day I purchased my airline ticket and my brother's crock pot. It is my money, it was there in the bank, yet I could not use it, ugh.

Exactly. The same thing happened to me. If you intend to make a large purchase on the same day that you intend to do other shopping just let your bank know in advance and they will approve all of your transactions provided you have the money in the account.

Thanks to the incessant talk about the Christmas look here I couldn't resist ordering today! *sigh* No willpower at all!
For all the Germans here who're still undecided: you can pre-order the whole collection at Parfumdreams now. Like always it's already cheaper there and right now there's a 12% voucher available: PONY12 (active until Nov. 02.)
I've ordered the balls, the voyage powder, the lipstick and the crazy violet-blue nailpolish. I never thought I'd want to have the latter, but after looking at several swatches I really started to like it. It's so different and unusual for winter.
Of course the powder is damn expensive, but I have a similar white powder from a YSL winter LE from years back and it still works beautifully for my skin. Those pale powders are rather rare, so I think I can justify buying it (yeah, as if - just trying to silence that annoying voice of reason!).
