I want to know your secret for getting your husband to use the Clarisonic. That is amazing.
He was curious watching me use it, so I told him to try it. He was like "my face is SO clean" and immediately bought his own brush head. Now he uses it more than me. We just picked up the new men's brush head while in sephora. He said (no joke) " I'm going to try this when I get home." He has a skin care regimen now. He used to wash his face with body wash

[@]sungelly87[/@] I think we were talking about the Sunday Riley Blue moon solid cleanser. I bought it yesterday and it so nice. It took off my caked on mascara, no sweat. Although it is oily (it's a balm after all) so I definitely needed to follow it with a second cleanser. And thanks, for the good genes tip. I'm liking the results so far.

I just read reviews for the kit and people are saying the same thing about the Smashbox product - haha.. I definitely do not want shiny brows.. what a strange concept.

I already busted out the Benefit High Brow and I like it for the brow bone.. I have seen people use it on YT in their waterline but I just read mixed comments from Benefit employees on whether it should be used in the waterline.. So I am not so sure about using it for that.

I switched over from Anastasia's Brow Whiz to NYX Micro-Brow.. I just find the NYX micro-brow to be easier to use - I don't have to press as hard...but I still like the Anastasia, so I will definitely use the one in the kit. Even at $40 - it seems like a good deal, since there are so many full-sized products!
When I tried the Smashbox, it looked even more ridiculous than I thought it would. I'm not sure of the purpose of it. But, I quickly wiped it off and have no intentions of even trying it again.

The Benefit High Brow is a nice bonus. I don't use it everyday but I like having it. Using it on my waterline never even crossed my mind, but I think I'll just stick to it for my brows.

And, I do agree about it being a good deal. I think all of the Sephora Favorites are and I just can't get enough of them! LOL

I'm so jealous!! It came online and went away again briefly and I haven't seen it in stores. Glad you love it! With as much money as I spend in skincare, i think Sunday Riley has great results.

That's too funny! Recently my coworker was like "I don't put lotion on my face" and I'm like whaaaa?! If I stray from my skincare routine, it's breakout city. Kudos to your husband!! I don't even use my Clarisonic lol.

Hey kids, I want to do a gift grab thing for my coworkers this year. Put a bunch of small beauty gifts in a bag and let them randomly reach in and pick things out. Nothing too outrageous. I was thinking of putting in some nail polish, a few of those macaron lip balms, and splitting up a Philosophy gift set of shower gels and adding those. Do you all have any more ideas?
How about breaking up a gift set? Sephora has many to choose from. I love masks so I would recommend the PTR Just Mask It set for $25. It has 3 masks: http://www.sephora.com/just-mask-it-P402690?skuId=1747542

Or the Josie Maran body cream trio for $25: http://www.sephora.com/whimsical-wonder-whipped-argan-oil-body-butter-trio-P401752?skuId=1756220 (who doesn't need lotion at there desk??)

This Tory Burch duo for $18 is also cute: http://www.sephora.com/tory-burch-mini-duo-P400568?skuId=1744960

You can also try a lip set like the Bite Rewind set for $25 and that'll be 4 items: http://www.sephora.com/best-bite-rewind-P401615?keyword=BITE%20BEAUTY%20Best%20Bite%20Rewind%20P401615&skuId=1751262&_requestid=503160

I say browse through the gift section as they have so many cute little gifts sets that can be separated for our gift grab. That way I can stop bombarding you with links.

He definitely uses it more than I do. Every morning I'm doing my hair and he's in the shower and it starts buzzing. Now he is always looking in my skincare and asking if he can try anything. We are both trying out different sheet masks. It's so cute.

OMG I was looking at that lipstick but with the conversion and shipping to my mailbox, I was like, do I really want to spend $75+ on just a single lipstick? I'm not 100% I'm going to get it because I'm not a huge red wearer BUT I will send you a PM nonetheless because I tend to cave on things like this, lol. Thank you so much!

Get out of my head!! Lol! I've been using my Ole stuff on my hands and then my Origins sleeping mask afterwards. Let me know if you find anything! My hands get TORNNNN UPPPP in winter!

LOL!!! I agree about not wanting to use anything else - if it ain't broke, don't fix it, right?!
You're welcome! And, you can use the $25 off on any purchase of $50. It's not just for the lipstick. Sorry if I didn't make that clear earlier.

I love skincare. When I was checking out at sephora, the girl was like"you spend so much on skincare, your face will be incredible when you get old". lol I'm always trying new stuff. I found a Korean beauty mart in Portland and I am trying everything. Lipstick and skincare. My two weaknesses.

Hey all! I have a question. My boyfriend is in the market for a new facial cleanser. He's been using The First Aid Beauty Skin Rescue Deep Cleanser with Red Clay, and liked it. However he's been using it for a bit over a year and it seems as if his skin has adapted to it, and isn't keeping his acne away as much. He's oily skin, acne prone with typically mild-moderate acne breakouts, and large pores on his cheeks and nose (shhh! don't tell him that last part! :haha: ) His acne is mostly white heads. He isn't into toning and moisturizing (are any guys? Idk.) So he's looking for something to help with his acne but not dry his face out. Any ideas? All the face washes I use and love are a lot stronger and possibly more drying but I also follow it up with toner, serum, and moisturizer.  TIA!
My OG skincare line is Cera Ve...if he's not into the moisturizing version I'd try their Foaming Facial Wash. I keep 2 bottles on hand at all times, a moisturizing one and a normal one. Other solid choices are the Murad Clarifying Cleanser and the Clinique Liquid Facial Soap--they have one specifically for men too. Without a moisturizer though, everything might be drying over time. I don't know why men are so anti-lotion lol. Maybe rough skin is more rugged? Idk.

He's the best. He has really tried to learn about makeup since I like it because I listen to him talk about stuff he likes (video games I don't play, computer stuff). He said he sees it as bonding time. The only thing he hates is when I ask him to help me pick a lip color. He gets frustrated because so many look alike but with tiny changes. He's like "they're all red!!!??!!" Lol.

Lol! He's sounds wonderful...hearing things like this gives me hope for a potential husband :sigh: now if I can just disengage from Sephora's website and leave my apartment....

Tentative VIB sale list (will probs edit down a bit)

-burberry wet dry silk eyeshadow in stone blue
-burberry wet dry silk eyeshadow in mulberry
-burberry wet dry silk eyeshadow in rosewood
-burberry kisses lipstick in bright plum
-burberry lip velvet lipstick in damson
-laura mercier matte to metal caviar stick set
-bite beauty mauvember lipstick
-clinique cheek pop in nude pop
-dior fusion mono eyeshadow in mirror
-touch in sol one second vivid lip crayon in wild tangerine
See, I want a bunch of Burberry too, but I know a lot of these items are OOS right now. So I'm hoping they re-stock before VIB's get a chance at things. Otherwise my list gets cut way down.

Men don't see turquoise or lilac -- they see blue and purple. He gets an 'A' for effort though!! I think it's very sweet that he is learning about makeup just for you.

I saw this in my store yesterday, I almost bought it but I didn't see a price and I'm still working on finishing another cleansing balm. I went home last night to try to find it for a price and didn't see it. Do you remember how much it was?
