Happy New Year everone! Our spending totals have been re-set; time to re-qualify! I plan not to be Rouge again...Imma try this VIB life lol.

I hope everyone is having a Happy New Year! In my opinion, the benefits of being VIB Rouge are not enough for me to aim to re-qualify, however, if I do happen to re-qualify it's fine and if I don't, that's okay too. My spending at Sephora started going down a lot towards the end of last year so I doubt that I'll be spending as much this year, but it may be too soon for me to speak on that since this year just started, lol.

Happy New Year Friends!!! :dogdance:

Has anyone seen the new shades for the Bite Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayons come up on Sephora yet? I'm patiently waiting. I forgot how much I loved those babies!!

I couldn't find them so I guess they haven't been released yet. I love these lip crayons and their ingredient deck so I'm really excited about these new colors. And my sis wears Bite Beauty lip products pretty much exclusively now because of their more healthful ingredients. Plus their colors are gorgeous!

Do you guys like the quality of Colourpop cosmetics???

HAPPY NEW YEAR PEEPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :bootyshake::drinking::roflmao::party::catdance::cowdance::yay:

Happy New Year Everyone! :D

I enjoy Colourpop's liquid lipsticks, pencil eyeliners and lip liners. Their shadows and cheek products haven't done it for me. I did order a new eyeshadow quad b/c it's a collab with a youtuber and the colors are too gorgeous to pass on. I hope they're better than their other shadows.

Agreed. Unfortunately, I have had a MUFE awakening and I have quite a few things on my "Loves" list so I will have to give them some coins.

They really do have the best colors, they're some of my favorites :)

The NARS blush Goulue, which was previously released in the NARS x Guy Bourdin One Night Stand 6-Pan Blush Palette, is now available in full size as a limited edition Sephora Rouge exclusive available only online. It is also the VIB Rouge Renewal Gift for 2016. Are any of you ladies going to buy it or if you are already a Rouge, do you think you'll spend $1000 again this year to requalify for it and get it as a Renewal Gift?

I've been going back and forth about this. I don't actually have that palette so its a plus. I was surprised I was Rouge as I didn't think I made any big purchases. I went back through my purchases page for last year and added it up and yup I did it. No big purchases though. So I probably will again not purposely though. I don't tend to use samples and minis much so I just may buy a regular size. I couldn't find many pics of people wearing it though.

I might get this blush if it's still around Tuesday for the bite launch. I was thinking about rouge the other day and I don't think I'll make it this year. That's a first for me to even think about that. It's just a feeling I have. I'm being more selective lately and looking elsewhere. I haven't bought much from Sephora since the summer. Rouge really has no benefits and so I won't aspire to renew.

I have the palette so I don't feel a need to buy the blush in full pan form. Especially since I rarely reach for that specific color. I think I'll end up qualifying as a Rouge just because of how things tend to work out (if you spend $100 / month at Sephora you're already qualified for 2017, it'll just add up). Plus I love makeup so :catdance:
But I agree, the benefits aren't really worth it to me.

Very pretty! Not terribly unique in my collection, and I'm not too fond of Nars blushes...some I really like, but quite a few I decluttered and wasted my coins. I also don't want to re-qualify for Rouge this year. It's not worth it, and I have soooo much already! I'd be tempted to grab it during a sale but it's nothing I'm feeling crazy about.

I've noticed Sephora has been bringing in Chosungah22 as an exclusive brand. It's a korean brand, but I can't seem to find the ingredients online anywhere. I'm particularly interested in the ingredients for the Bounce Up Pact (on their site here: http://m.sephora.com/bounce-up-pact-powder-foundation-P402539?skuId=1721638 ). Has anyone had any experiences with this brand or product? Or better still have the ingredients list of the Bounce Up Pact? :)

I was going back and forth about it yesterday but finally took the plunge and purchased it. Between all of the "VIB ROUGE Exclusive, Sephora Exclusive, Limited Edition, Online Only" phrases that they used to express it's limited availability, I got sucked in, lol. Fortunately, I don't have the palette though, so like you said, it's more of an incentive to buy it. I spent a lot more than I thought I would last year so I wouldn't be surprised if unintentionally re-qualified this year as well and end up with a mini version of the blush, even though I would like to greatly reduce my spending at Sephora since their VIB Rouge program doesn't offer enough for what you have to spend to reach VIB Rouge status. The only person I saw reviewing it was Temptalia, who reviewed it when it was sold exclusively in the palette.

I know how you feel. Towards the end of last year, I started being a lot more selective about the products I purchase and where I purchase them from. I think that other stores have better incentive programs without having to spend nearly as much and sometimes, other stores offer better deals on some of the same products that Sephora sells so I'm trying to stick to only purchasing products from Sephora that I can't get anywhere else and shop elsewhere for other products. Whether that cuts down my spending at Sephora enough to not re-qualify for Rouge is only something that time will tell for me, however, I don't aspire to renew either.

I have the palette so I don't feel a need to buy the blush in full pan form. Especially since I rarely reach for that specific color. But I agree, the benefits aren't really worth it to me.

Since you already have it in the palette, are there any other comparable colors in the NARS collection that you may have in your collection that you think are similar? I checked Temptalia's dupe list for the blush from the palette and she compared it to Dolce Vita, so I'm curious to see if others agree. Also, if you think about how much you have to spend to reach Rouge status, it seems like a lot but spending a $100 a month at a place like Sephora doesn't seem so hard if you are a makeup and skincare lover. It's easy to spend that much a month even if you buy a handful of products due to the price points of a lot of their products. Now that I think about it, I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up re-qualifying, lol.

According to Temptalia's website, there are quite a few dupes for this blush including Dolce Vita (which happens to be the blush I use most so I don't mind having another similar blush) so I'm sure if you have a good number of blushes in your collection, there's something similar enough in your collection to warrant not needing to purchase it at all or purchase it right away. It's really a shame on the company's end that so many people are trying to avoid re-qualifying due to the lack of unique and valuable incentives in the VIB Rouge program. These types of programs are supposed to encourage people to spend more but their program is doing the opposite and Sephora hasn't done anything yet to make people feel like it's worth it, despite customers constantly saying that they don't feel like it's worth it.

I'm so angry with myself! I placed an order online on Dec 31st... I didn't even think that I could've placed it on the 1st and had the $92 go towards re qualifying for VIB Rouge, damn! I emailed customer service and hopefully they can maybe help me out a bit.

The new Bite shades went up this morning. I got Red Velvet & Pastille. I also threw in one of the new MUFE concealers. I got the one that's supposed to be for color correcting because I'm not sure if the darkest shade of concealer is dark enough.

Man, this board is tragically slow. It's making me sad.

It is sad. It is/was my favourite Specktra board because of the variety of products discussed.

Nice, I think those will both be beautiful on you! I'm excited for pastille.

And agreed on the activity here. I hate to say anything bad b/c I'm thankful the site still exists, but I do struggle with it myself. It's super slow on my PC and not as friendly on my phone as it used to be. Plus for some reason the overall look messes with me. I feel like I'm on reddit or something weird.

Yeah, it's the look that bothers me. Like you, I'm glad the site is still here, but for some reason it's painful to look at. It's actually not slow on my laptop or phone, though.
