Discuss. I am perhaps guilty of overtanning, but that's the only one. Anyone else out there guilty?

Totally guilty of piling on the face makeup! I use two foundations at a time lol. It took me a long time to show my bare face to my bf, but once I did he liked it (despite the acne scarring)!

I'm guilty of the occasional Cleopatra-eyemakeup look, but I really hate lists like these. As if we should sit around worrying about whether or not men (or women) will approve of the way we make ourselves up. It's makeup, it's fun and creative and unique, and it should make the person wearing it feel good.

i'm guilty of all of those except the long nails and overtanning... oh well. my boyfriend is a hairstylist and wears guyliner so he doesn't care since i don't look like that at home!

I think the hedi shot was because you could actually see the foundation on her face as opposed to it looking like flawless skin.

I personally think the list is kind of funny-I was never a fan of Christina Aguleria when she had the super thin brows. Just a reminder I guess on how much beauty is fueled by women for women.

I love my big hair and cleopatra eye makeup, and so do most guys I know... I rarely get comments that are snide about it, in fact a few of my male friends love my weird eye makeup so much they take pictures of it with their phone lol xD

I was wearing less dramatic makeup yesterday actually and I got loads of questions as to why I'd done it 'normal' and it didn't look 'half as cool'...

^ lol. i get that sometimes too. I've been in a neutrals rut lately, but i remeber not that long ago i was wearing all kinds of bold bright colours. I would get all kinds of compliments and when i ore something light someone asked if it was cause i was sad.

Some of these i dont care for either; over tanned. super thin brows, talon nails.

But i also think lists like this are stupid. I like cleopatra eyes, and i think a lot of men (who are not super close minded) can apriciate the art and talent required to do something like that. I mean, if you do it everyday, or have it in conjuction with reflective lips, talons, huge hair.... ok thats too much.

I don't give a crap if my bf likes my makeup or not. He likes me, and thats what matters.

I love how some men think that they know what natural means, e.g. this guy Mike saying that “I like women who keep it natural so that you can see the real person.” I straighten my hair, it looks natural enough but naturally it's curly and a right mess so he thinks that my natural hair (which is big and adored by Mr RR) would be unnatural?

Mr RR does tell me I look nice when he knows that I have made an effort to look decent but then also offers constructive criticism which is nice because I think that sometimes you can't always tell what looks good on you.

1. Super sized hair - my boyfriend is scared of big hair, LOL. Am I guilty of this? Sometimes, but only in a quiffy way, nothing drastic.

2. Layers of make up - he admits he's also scared of this but assures me that I am NOT guilty of this one. Phew!

3. Claw-like nails - again, he's a pussy! I keep mine short, so no worries there!

4. Barely there brows - I don't touch my brows, so I'm okay on this one. Again, something I know that freaks le boyf out!

5. Cleopatra-worthy eye makeup - I can sometimes get close to being guilty of this one according to my boyf but i've never scared him.

6. Overtanning - My BF is scared of orange people, yep. I don't tan, naturally or otherwise. I'm proud to be pale.

7. Reflective lips - Finally one that he doesn't have beef with - he likes my lips being made up. Wooooohoooo!

uh oh big hair + (fake) tanning = me... However I look way better with these things and feel better about myself so I will be damned if I actually downgrade my looks for a guy. Also I've rocked the cleopatra-esque eyeliner before...

Pfft, if a guy doesn't want to date me because I have big hair and wear "a lot" of makeup, then I wouldn't want to be with him anyway. It's like a screening process!

Sometimes I think that maybe guys BS about liking the natural look so they don't look shallow.. Honestly, look at porn, look at Playboy, look at celebrities. A lot of guys find those women attractive, and they certainly don't all sport the natural look. Quite the opposite in fact. But what do I know, I have no penis. I'm sure a lot of guys honestly do like minimal makeup and simple hair, but I'm pretty sure that's not the case with all of 'em.

It's the same as some girls being attracted to preppy cleancut guys while others like a more metro kinda man.

I'm guilty of two, mostly the big hair and I don't care lol. I will wear as much extensions and stuff as I want if he's not paying for it he better step the hell off.
