Before Buying Brushes On Ebay Or Asking About Them Read This!!!

I bought 'em on ebay a couple years ago cause I didn't wanna wait for the holiday season to own a mac brush set, lol.
I'm not sure if they even do such thing as fake mac brushes mini sets…but since you guys seem so accomplished here I thought why not check?

I looked at the ones at my local MAC counter and they look quite similar, except they all say japan rather than china on the back of the handle. But I thought maybe it's because the ones from the holiday kits are cheaper?

The ones with the black handles look fine - I have that set also and they look identical to mine.

The silver ones look ok, but I don't own that set so I can't compare. Hopefully someone else can confirm

I was seriously thinking about buying a fake 187 from ebay and just hoping it does a simular job to the real one for my lightscapades. I might not now...

Alty.. both sets look ok to me ... they are original. Redambition is right.. the Antiquitease had the gold ferrules.

the frenzy for fakes has only taken off in the past few years.. wasn't that prevalent before.

Michaela.. it's not worth buying a fake because it will shed on you, fall apart (handle, head, ferrule) and generally piss you off. Save your money and buy one good /real one!

I had a friend buy what she thought was SE brush set and that was the worst quality garbage it was hard and shedding like crazy

Disgustingly ran into this today,

more fake brushes and seller uses the "gifted by MAC employee" line in the listing but "no brush sleeve" to counter the claim, eBay

will always let this happen there is just too much money paid to them to stop it .

Mac does not sell full size brush sets, ebay has a lot of sellers selling full size brush sets containing 8-32 brushes, mac does not and never has sold these, I emailed a seller asking if they were authentic (I knew they wasn't) they replied no but excellent copies I use them myself all the time. people are paying ridiculous amounts of money for these fake brushes,
