I can't look any more! I've never been able to bring myself to buy anything on that site. I'm too afraid that what shows in the picture won't be what comes in the box. Amazon.com is getting just as bad, though. I just saw some "MAC" eyeshadow that "comes with original applicator." I tried to find the place to report the item, but couldn't. I'm just going to buy from the MAC site or the mall.

There is some shockers out there and yeh been burnt but now know where to look and what to look for. hello kitty, lady gaga, mascara the list is endless... Aus eBay is loaded with it... I don't even search anymore, I stick with my quality sellers I know I can trust and if they don't have it then I know they will get it for me... Fake is a waste of time and money and really kidding itself if u feel proud of a Mac collection that is filled with fake Mac makeup

Have you seen this one? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MAC-WONDER-WOMAN-MINERALIZE-SKINFINISH-POWDER-BNIB-/280728952923?pt=UK_Health_Beauty_Make_Up_Cosmetics_Blusher_PP&hash=item415cbfe05b

Lol, I really love the colours! Also wish Mac had thought of putting a mirror in the lid, way better that way. :)

Not the colour they wanted? Of course it's not! Were they wanting a Wonder Woman MSF or "Soft and Gentle" (as they say this is called)? Surely they must know it's not for real?

Fake pigments here http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190573286972

Claims to have bought them from a wholesaler and has a disclaimer in the listing.

Some of those colour names aren't even real MAC pigment names!

Reported, for what good it will do

Also eyeshadows with mirrors and applicators, Ga Ga lipsticks, MSFs and much more http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/meleaza123/m.html?_trksid=p4340.l2562

Wow, ebay don't like you reporting listings do they? Some of that person's listings I had to enter verification codes during the process up to 5 times each!!

rockin.. Ebay doesn't give a crap about anybody's fake anything.. unless there is a lawsuit going on and or publicity .. otherwise they turn a blind eye to all fakes and even the used stuff.. btw, I had once checked about used products, and lo! Ebay will allow selling used mu if the brush/applicator are not sold with it... lmao. The whole thing is a joke... not saying there are some good and honest sellers, you just have to do the Caveat emptor thing !

Long time, no see, HerGreyness. Good to see you again :)

I think it's about time MAC got involved with Vero - it's the only way to get the fakes removed. In the meantime, I'll carry on reporting. At least I can feel I'm trying to do something about it

Can't buyers see that these are exactly the same as the others on ebay which don't have the MAC logo on and are much, much cheaper?

Damn ebay for not allowing us to contact bidders or eventual buyers and warn them that they have bought or are bidding on fake goods! I'm so grateful that it was possible to do that when I made my first ebay purchase of fake pigment and someone from Specktra messaged me to tell me

Yeah, I used to message people to tell them they had bought fakes, but most never even responded to me, so there you go, maybe they don't want to know. :(

I've just noticed that you can message people again through eBay, as I've just seen a feedback for a fake Mac 32 palette and managed to send a message to the buyer. Of course the feedback was positive and the seller has a 99% positive feedback while selling loads of fakes. :( Wish people weren't so naive.

Some people might just be happy with the cheaper price. Just look at the large number of Louis Vuitton handbags that people carry around - and they are certainly well aware that these are fake.
There is certainly a difference between handbags and cosmetics (healthwise), but if the price is right, some might just not care.

And the cosmetic companies could probably care less as they are not making any less profit as the person who buys fake (and I am referring to repeat purchaser here) usually falls into a different consumer category. If they can get a 24 piece brush set for 20 bucks, why should they spend 40 bucks on one brush that they buy from MAC? I'm not defending either side, I'm just trying to shed light on an issue that is prevalent in the fashion industry as all of us who buy from H&M, Top Shop, or Zara are basically buying cheap knock-offs of high designer fashion.

What about those people that have paid way over the top for one of those 120 eyeshadow palettes or similar, thinking that it's MAC? They haven't paid less - they've paid more than they needed to! Then there's the people that have bought cheap fakes which damage their skin or eyes - I'm sure they would have wanted to know they'd bought fake stuff? They would tell their friends that MAC (or whichever other high end company's product they thought they had bought) is no good, losing potential customers for the real thing.
