For some reason every time I try to picture those being used on someone I just get this image of a terrified model sitting in the makeup chair eyes screwed shut, holding her breath as her face is scrubbed in circles like she's a prized horse.

Seriously...that's a toothbrush...I'm all for creative uses for brushes and unexpected shapes being great for application...but that's a toothbrush.

I don't know about you, but the bristles look really soft and velvety to me. xD Not entirely sure how they'd be particularly useful though.

They look like dirty toothbrushes which makes them a huge turnoff. It's so strange. They just look like something you shouldn't be putting near your face.
