Thanks Lauren for the massive post lol. :haha: I want the lipstick and even the lipgloss (I'm not a gloss person) from the copper bag. Can live with Photogravure, it looks like a nice basic. But that palette looks like total shite. The bag is €62 over here (almost $70) and it's also an hassle to get because it's some department store's exclusive. So I dunno :/

Lol!! No problem!

Yeah, Photogravure is a nice basic. I'm not really a tightline / waterline type of girl. I feel like it makes my eyes so small. So I'll just be using it on the lid I think.

Yes, the palette's only saving grace is primer and now I know why people complain about these Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadows. The pans are MICROSCOPIC and barely any brush fits into them. It's a load of glitter but I like all the other three products included in the bag.

Sorry for the MASSIVE post with all my pics/swatches. But I hope they help! I have all of my haul except SOG which I last minute phone ordered from nordies the other day. So it'll probably be here next week.

First off, here is a picture of my haul. Left is flash & right is no flash. :) That's the nordie's exclusive copper eye/lip bag, moon is blue, tonight's the night, night thrill, oh darling, & dark side.

This is the swatch of the lipstick "The Right Note" (Cremesheen) and lip glass "Rocket to the Moon" both are very pretty nudes! Theyre a touch more pink IRL, but this is pretty close to being accurate on my skin tone.

Here are three of the CDPs. Top to bottom: Moon is blue, Night Thrill, Tonight's the Night! Both photos are no flash. Both photos, each color is swiped one time.
Left photo is dry, no eyeshadow primer.
Right photo is dry, over UD's eyeshadow primer in eden.
Primer really saves Night Thrill, imo. I was considering returning it. For MIB and TTN, it makes the shadows brighter and the shimmer stand out more.
I'm sorry I forgot to swatch these wet.

Dark side lipstick.

Technakohl Liner in Photogravure from the copper eye & lip bag.

Oh Darling. Both with no flash. Just two different angles. Definitely very yellow gold on me. I can pull it off blended out on my cheekbones.

Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadow in Copperluxe.

Swatches of Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadow in Copperluxe. To be honest, the pigmentation is pretty crap without primer. (luckily I use primer every time I put on eyeshadow so it doesn't bother me too much) The 2nd shade might as well not exist, and the golden shade seems like a glitter topper. If I didn't love the lipstick and gloss so much from the bag, it would be going back. Primer definitely helps a *lot*, but I'm worried about fall out. We'll see how it actually wears on the eyes. I intend on trying it out Monday. I try not to wear makeup on the weekends unless I'm going somewhere.

As you can see, on the left is no primer, and the right is with UD's primer in eden. I have yet to try this with TF's glitter glue. It might help even more. I just hate how that base makes colors soooo unblendable. The bottom most shade is really pretty. It was hard to catch on camera, but it's dark brown with a little bit of colored shimmer in it. Both of these photos are without flash. The one on the left, with no primer, needed a bunch of swipes to build it up to how you see there. On the right, over primer, each swatch is one swipe! You can really see how much primer helps.

This is Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadow in Copperluxe WITH primer, & with flash. You can kind of see the 2nd shade here. Honestly it blends away into my skin tone. It might stand out more on ladies who are a different skin tone than I am. It's a really soft and buttery shade though. I guess it'll just help me blend out the look.

When SOG gets here, I'll swatch it on my fair skin tone! :)
Thanks for the swatches, Lauren. The Copperluxe palette reminds me of Bao Bao's Jewels... Sans the sparkle

MAC had a very good strategy with the lippies. They put all LE ones in the bags n perm in single lippies. Well played, well played! You see that Maureen O Hara died :( She was such a beauty! Loved her on Parent Trap♡

I'm currently going through all my pigments, and found several (so far) that could be used as a highlighter, these might be WOC friendly and I might've saved myself a quid or 2. Will take swatch photos later on and label them

So cruel. Would have probably bought PI and the cremesheen nude if they were sold individually. I love CS nudes. I think you all have convinced me to buy Pillow Talk, btw :p

You will not regret Pillow Talk. Would love to see it make a comeback, but knowing MAC it'll be under a different name.

Anyone have the lip bags with the limited edition lippies? Do they come in special packaging like the purple bullet? Any swatches of those lippies?

@laurennnxox thanks for the lovely swatches! the lipstick and even the lipgloss (I usually hate lipgloss) looks really pretty :) I love everything in the copper bag except not too fond of the shadows anymore :/ does it help if you "scratch" on top of the shadow to get more pigment out? not sure if I will keep the shadows from the set but I want the other stuff

Welcome!! The shadows aren't stiff or dry, so I'm not sure why they look like crap without primer. I guess because the shimmery shades are kinda chunky glitter and the one matte shade kinda just blends away. They feel nice and soft on my finger-tip when I swatch, but when I press my finger to my skin to swatch it just... disappears! I don't really know how to describe it, lol! I hope that helps.
