Hi,

Does anyone have a list of which Milani e/s can work as a substitute for which Mac colors? For example, does Milani make a shadow that looks like Ricepaper? or Shroom?

Thanks!

Milani -----------MAC

Flare -----------Coppering
Clover----------Humid
Classic Beige----Shroom
Storm----------Black Tied
Moonlight-------Vellum
Spice-----------Antiqued
Sun Goddess----Amber Lights
Evening Sky-----Deep Truth (or Contrast, I can't remember)
Garden Mist-----Juxt

There's more, I just can't think of them.

I have a couple Milani eyeshadows and quads (the green one is awesome), but what I really love are their lip glosses (the crystal ones). Everyone always asks me what I'm wearing when I wear those!!

Atlantis is similar to Electric Eel

Almondine is a good sub for Filament, it isn't shimmery like Filament is, but it's similar in colour!

I've never heard of MAC "Little Madame" but I think Milani Illusion is similar to a sheerer, slightly pinker version of "Expensive Pink" - ie, basically a "pink champagne" shimmer colour.

Milani Shock = sheerer, more glittery "Stars 'n Rockets" - SnR is MUCH more pigmented, but if hot purple-sheen pink is not a colour you're going to get a LOT of wear out of (I do actually) then Shock is probably the better value...

Milani Moonlight = NICER than MAC Vellum IMHO

Milani Java Bean = a bit like MAC Tempting, in that they're both bronzed browns, but IMHO Java Bean's got more of a warm, rosy undertone to it, whereas Tempting's undertone is a cooler goldish
bronze....

Hope this helps...

I've got the Milani Illusion, I don't know how much is similar to little madame 'cause I don't have this one, but the MAC one is one of the three e/s mineralized of the Rococo L/E.
A friend of mine has got Whim, Little madame and Tres teal.

is milani e/s pigments as good as MACs? I heard that the Milani e/s can fit in the Mac e/s pallettes, is that true? it'd be cool if someone made or had a spreedsheet list or something of the similarities

Theres one set with 4 browns. The light vanilla-y color looks a lot like Dazzlelight.

Milani is a GREAT brand, especially if you can't afford MAC.
