Your everyday look

Not sure if this is the right forum for this?

Just wondering what your usual everyday look is? Do you go for the natural look, something neutral, do you do a full colour look, or maybe you don't wear makeup everyday and save it for the weekends or special occasions?

I'm at home with two little boys, and actually was rarely wearing makeup at all. But I find that I feel a lot better, more energized and ready-to-go when I take the time in the mornings to get ready. However, a full blown smokey eye just wouldn't suit my day to day. I go for a more natural look and save the glam for special occasions (although my 'glam' is probably a lot of ladies more regular look

). Usually just a wash of e/s over the lid, a little liner and mascara, a little bronzer and chapstick. Just that little bit can totally perk me up!

Yeah most days I don't do a full face either. My minimum lately has been foundation, powder, blush, mascara, eyebrows, and lipgloss. Occasionally I might go for a wash of color on the lid as well (Gleam e/s works well for this). I honestly don't even feel fully human if I don't have my skin and eyebrows taken care of.

It depends, for days with work and school I'll do neutral looks soft pinks and browns for eyeshadow. For other days or when I am going out later I'll do bolder more full on color Though everyday I always wear at least foundation, blush, eyebrow filler, and eyeliner.

1. Concealer under eyes and other dark spots
2. Set concealer with Studio Fix powder (and usually a light dusting over the rest of my face too)
3. Blush or bronzer (sometimes both)

Most of the time, I do a full face neutral look for work and on occassions, I do smokey eye looks or bright looks. There are times that I want to just do a quick look if I'm in a hurry to get to work.

I wear full make up everyday (foundation)... and I usually experiment with a new eye look everyday.

But my normal everyday "look"... is usually more dramatic eyes, pale pink lips. (Constructivist P/P, Satin Taupe e/s on the lid, Mystery e/s in the crease and lightly smoked on the lower lash line, Soft Brown e/s to blend, Dazzlelight e/s in the inner corners and Vanilla e/s as a highlight), Blacktrack fluinline on upperlash line, LashBlast Mascara, All Blushbaby blush, and Angel lipstick (or Creme Cup).

I always do my full face except maybe on a weekend when i know i won't go anywhere just so my skin can breathe. My normal look is a brown/taupe smokey eye and Viva Glam V or other neutral on lips. if i am going out i will change to darker lipstick, but for work i wear neutral lips. I tend to look tired if i don't do my full eye look for work.

I'm concealer & powder only almost every day. When I go out, I'll wear jest all over, liner, lashes, brow liner and blush. About once a week, I'll do 2-3 shadows and some lipstick/gloss as well. I never do a full face every day. I'm a stay-at-home mom and I just don't have the need. Sometimes I WISH I had someplace to wear all of my makeup to! LOL

I wear a full face of makeup if I am doing anything outside of home, mostly that means university. I almost never walk out the door without at least my base and mascara, because I am super pale with invisible eyelashes and people tend to think I look sick/tired without makeup. In the summer when I am tanned, I can sometimes just use mascara.

The full face means mineral foundation, concealer and finishing powder. A little BE Warmth to add color, blush, eyebrow color and eyeshadow. Oh, and lipgloss, or Hue on the lips.

For the "neutral" days, I would put on some tinted lip conditioner, tinted moisturizer or light foundation and a bit of contour. Nothing for the eye or the brows to keep the face looking natural.

lazy days
1. bare face with chapstick

semi-lazy days
0. MSFn
1. fill in eyebrows
2. sheer red lipstick

non-lazy day
0. fill in eyebrows
1. studio finish concealer+ MSFn (I don't like wearing liquid foundation, have imperfect skin and I feel like liquid foundation just emphasizes it)
-peachykeen/Soft & Gentle (sometimes bronzer)
2. neutral eye (texture/carbon/club w/false eyelashes)
-or cat-eye using blacktrack
-or just wear falsies
3. lipstick/lipgloss

I wish I could wear crazy color combinations like xsparkage but I just do not match it at all

which is such a bummer because I have Electric EEl, which gets a lot of staring at from me only.
