Vitalumiere Aqua foundation has launched and I tried it. It provides light coverage, and it is replacing teint innocence fluid. I love TI fluid and I'm sad it is gone. The cream version is still on going.

Thanks!

Hmm I don't even think there is a TI fluid here, just a cream in the jar? Maybe I'm wrong. Sorry your favourite is being discountinued. That is so frustrating. I wonder how long unopened bottles would last?

Unopened bottles of fluid foundation? I'm guessing pretty long, maybe a year or 2. There was a fluid TI and cream TI in a compact packaging. The cream formula is still available.

I've always wanted to try one but propylene glycol, which my rosacea reacts to, is in all of the ones I've checked ingredients on. BTW the 2 times I've had to ask Chanel directly about ingredients they asked for my address and sent them via...are you sitting down? Fedex!!! What a waste of $$ for them. Now I'm afraid to ask anymore! Does anyone know if they have a foundation that uses butylene glycol instead of propylene glycol? Also, I've heard that they don't run very light, at least in the US. Even MAC's new Prolongwear in NC15 is a bit dark on me. Does Chanel have anything lighter than that?

do you know if people with rosacea usually react to propylene glycol? i know that i react to mica and have wondered which chanel foundations contain that, but i didn't know about this ingredient before... what foundation are you using atm?

Usually might be a stretch but many do. If you have read the book by Dr. Nase it is included in there as a potential problem ingredient. The thing with rosacea triggers, as far as cosmetic ingredients go, is that it's very YMMV, so you really have to do your own experimenting. I have great luck with Chantecaille Future Skin and Alima MMU (but the MMU contains mica).

Have you had a chance to check this out by any chance Miss QQ? Any idea what the sunscreen ingredient is and whether the formula includes propylene glycol? Are there any really light shades? Not too full of questions, am I?

Edit: A friend of mine from MUA sent me this link with the ingredients for the new foundation. It won't work for me because of the chemical sunscreen, alcohol (it seems like all these newer light foundations like Diorskin Nude, etc. contain alcohol, and high up on the ingredient list) and dipropylene glycol, but maybe someone else would find the list (and comments) useful:

I've got a sample of B10 Vitalumiere Aqua but it is too light for me. I tried the other shades at the counter and I like the texture and scent. I've heard about the chemical ingredient in the new lighter foundations too but I don't know if they will cause any problem to my skin. Tried Diorskin Nude on a face a few times and was fine.

I'm crossing my fingers that this comes in chestnut for the us customers. I really want to try it and don't want to be left out!

Monsy, have you tried the foundation chart over at Temptalia? All of her readers entered this information, so that might be a good place to get started.

I was shopping yesterday and I am looking for a light foundation to get rid of my slight redness in the cheeks I have during winter, something dewy and not heavy and definitely not something matte. She recommended the new Vitalumiére Aqua foundation in B30 to me. By bf asked me if I am looking for a bad tanning bed look. She thought I will be pleasantly surprised when I try it.
The lightest colour is BR20, but the name is Beige Rosé. Would that work being a NC15/20? It still looks a lot darker than the NC20 foundation I use in summer.

TIA

Yes i have tried temptalia's foundation matrix but her match isn't good. It says NC20 in MAC matches 0.5 porcelaine . I had big sample of 0.5 and looked too light and very pink. I was thinking maybe 20 claire.

Is there no BR10 or B10? Both of these are available at my counters and I have a sample of B10. Why would the MA recommend B30! lol. Can you try BR20 or B20 to see which matches you? If foundation oxidises on you it would be better to get 10.

My skin tone is more beige than pink so B20 is a match for me. I'm curious about BO20, Beige Ochre but I can't get a sample of it. I want to buy either B20 or BO20.

Normally 20 is the lightest colour we get here in Europe, except maybe the UK. It seems that everyone here wants to be tanned. The 30 really makes me look like an orange fake tan. She thought it will make me look healthier, yeah, right.
I will try to look at the B20 and see if that works better. I wear NC20 during summer and I am lighter during winter. Maybe Chanel is not for me then.
Did you like the sample you have? I noticed the foundation has a very strong smell, not sure how I feel about that.
Let me know how you like the foundation.

When I try it I will report here. I haven't use it because 10 is too light for me. I think the smell will dissipate after applying, but during application it will be obvious. I used chanel foundation in 30 before and even on my nc20 skin, it was too dark. I think Chanel should sell 10 in Europe!

I didn't care for the Vitalumiere. I didn't like that it never felt like it set. It felt kinda greasy all day and I have dry skin. They finally came out with a shade light enough for me though with this new formulation. Too bad I don't care for the formula :(

Thank you mrslid. Do you know when will Vitalumiere aqua be available in the US?

My NC20 friend uses B10 (the lightest). I am NC30 and B20 suits me perfectly. Chanel really needs to expand their shade range in foundations, they're very limited!
