I love the quints as well. I've been using them for years. Sunset Cafe is great.
I also love the quality of their nailpolishes.

Re: Dior cosmetics

i think i have around 5 quints, my fav are Night Dust & Stylish Move. I also have some duo e/s but i use quint more. Their Dior Backstage eye show are very good as a primer. their mascaras are the best. i never use their eyeliner though, maybe i will try it someday.
I have many Dior Addict Ultra-Gloss Reflect & some Rouge lipstick. i'm not kinda a person who do retouch makeup & their lip products last long.
their blushes are beautiful. i use their creme & powder blushes.
unfortunately, their foundation products are not the one for my oily face. it does make my face looks smooth but fade away in 2 hours. i think their foundations are more for dry & normal skin.

i use their creme to powder foundation though as my concealer & brow bone highlight.
if i can add here, i also use their skincare. i know it's really expensive but i love it. i use dior capture totale products. it makes my face so smooth.

I'm a big fan of Dior cosmetics but i haven't buy their products for almost 2 years, because of MAC. their products are good too but i just can't keep up with with their new collections every 2 weeks.

Being a college student I can't say I have a ton of disposable income, so i only have 3 Dior products- a Bronzer, a DiorKiss lipgloss and Diorshow mascara- but I LOVE them all!! My Diorshow mascara is hands down my favorite mascara and I cant live without it. The bronzer has a light glimmer to it and makes my skin look really healthy, and my lipgloss is incredibly long lasting witout being too sticky. They were all really good investments and when I save enough pennies, I'm going to get an eyeshadow too.

I love my Rose Diamond shimmer powder! So smooth and glowy! I want to buy Amber Diamond but I'm not sure if it would be too similar to Shimpagne MSF, even if I know that it would be more glowy instead of shimmery.

I tried Diorshow and didn't like it.

I like the lipstick Shiniest Beige, it's a great nude.

The foundations are way too dark for me. I got a sample of Forever in #10 and it looks like NC25.

I have a limited edition highlighter, three eye creams, and two quints. (I know that I forgetting some other stuff.)

In the past, they had really strange combos in the quints. They have defiantly improved in that arena. The single eye shadows are great.

Yes, I have been looking at Dior and other lines with their combos. In reality, some of these other brands are not that much higher than M.A.C. in certain criteria. There are ways to compare.

I hear people say this or that didn't show up on me. Well, frankly, M.A.C. does not show up on me as great with out all those paints, shade sticks, paint pots, and other primers. So, I suggest they use the same with other lines and they are happy now. Now, there are some really trash bin quality eye shadows out there. Whew! Dior is not one of them.

^^I'm a NC15 with regular pigmented lips. From your avatar you have a darker skin tone then me, so i would try this on first to see if it works. It might be too pale.

Re: !!! Dior Colour changes in the next year =|

i just tried the new quints - called design series or something?

anyway they are very smooth and creamy for a powder shadow. they only had 4 offerings at my counter, i think there was purple(or was it pink) , navy, gray and a amber/neutral combo?

2 of the powder shadows are quite pigmented and similar to the iridescent shadows. the other 2 tend to have a less colour pay off and a lot of shimmer in it - not big chunky types though. alas i didn't get to play with the cream liner, there wasn't a brush around but they don't look particularly special.

Hi, Dior makeup fans! I'm not a regular Dior makeup fan but I find the Summer 2009 collection very exciting.

This blog has the pics of the upcoming collection.

What do you guys think? Anything special and worth buying? From the pics and descriptions, I like Dior Crystal Shine very much. I wonder if my local Dior counters will get both variations. I have never purchase their special item before.

I also like these two 5-Colour Iridescent Eyeshadow, Dior Bronze Harmonie de Blush and the Diorskin Shimmer Powder here.

My Dior collection consist of only a lipstick, two glosses and a nail polish. The quality os the n/p is amazing.

Re: Dior cosmetics

I swatched the new Harmonie blushes and loved them, but did not pick them up at the time because they cost too much. During the recent Sephora sale I ordered it in Coral Riviera and it's supposed to be waiting at home for me! I can't freaking wait. It's the perfect combination of bronzing and blush in my opinion. I don't really wear bronzer (just a darker neutral blush to contour), so I'm quite excited.

I am a big fan of 5 e/s palette. so i like 859 (the pink palette). IMO it's worth buying it. they last long. a good thing about expensive brands is that their new collection is released four times a year while MAC's is released every month. I just can't keep up with MAC anymore.

Re: Dior cosmetics

I got my Coral Riviera yesterday and wore it today and I love it. It's a perfect marriage between blush and bronzer. Seriously. I chose the Coral over the Rose because I have lots of pink toned blushes already, but I really like the Rose too. However, for a nice summery bronzy look, I like Coral Riviera. It's great.
