I feel like I put myself out there with photos sometimes and sometimes I get weirded out and think I shouldn't post them. Then I think that some girls around my complexion need to get an idea of what these colors would look like on them so I'll be the test dummy. I take so many damn shots and try to choose a decent one! It's even harder when I don't wear foundation, like in those photos. Every one make me wince a bit.
Honey, we LOVE seeing your pictures! I know how you feel about the foundation - when I posted my swatches yesterday I was too sick to put anything else on my face, so no full face shots for me!

Shontay, when I first saw your pics last night, I was going to post about how beautiful your skin looks in them. I was going to ask what you used (skincare and foundation) No lie.
Your skin is incredible. lucky, lucky girl!!

And I do love the lippies. These pics y'all are posting are pushing me over the fence to get one.

Well guys, I was first one at our counter to use any of the stuff and I had a BALL.

I have to tell you swatching these shadows bored me very much but it was the use on the eye that they got really exciting. I want to post photos for
you but I can not remember the photo specs for posting.

As much as I love the eyeshadow on the eyes (which HAS to be used over a base, btw), I do NOT like the glosses at all.
They go on unevenly, splotchy and settle in the creases. They stay on about average.

Having said that, my husband and daughter went to nuts when I put on Peacocky that they strongly encouraged me (okay bugged me) to get it.

LOL

So for fun I caved. But I don;t like the texture and way it settles into the cracks so quickly. I do like how it looks- but not until everyone went nuts over it on me
did I buy it. I love the color but was not sure it would look good on me- HAHA That was funny- usually I am the one wearing the crazy stuff and everyone else
is thinking *I* am nuts.

Okay, I can not find the max specs for posting photos (pixel width and length), but I am going to try to post a few.

If these photos are too big, (moderator) please let me know and I will gladly change it. I just can not find the information anywhere
on the site- only how to post photos, but not the max pixels.

These are my Peacocky makeover photos from the counter that I did on myself.

Here is what I have on:
Prance inner corner and under brow highlight
Noir Plum 2/3 of lid
Dandizette outer corner and above crease
Unflappable in crease and under eye
Odalisque on outer area above crease but under highlighter
Papparazz-she center of the lid

Used over Too Faced Shadow Insurance

Lips
Magenta liner (around edges)
Peacocky gloss

I need your help great enablers! I can only have one, maybe two more eyeshadows and atleast one kissable lip thing (lol).. I already have Dalliance. Could you please recommend colors for me? I'm into neutrals, sometimes smoky eye looks.

Thank you so much!

PS
I'm LOVING Peacocky on you ladies. Seriously. I want. Even if it's just to wear inside the house lol.

I have the oily-ist lids ever and i wore the color for hours base free. IMO a base isn't necessary. I am glad I don't need to waste base product on them.
Everyone should at least try the shadows both ways to really decide for themselves. these shadows seem like they are created to save you a few steps and a few dollars, by being larger and very pigmented.; in the long run.

Well, how about Center Stage and Unflappable? Since you do most of the smokey neutral looks I think those would be most practical for you.

Although I personally felt that Top of the Posh was one of the standouts of the collection which no one mentions at all (at least I have not seen anyway)

Thank you for showing us what you did with your Peacocky makeup, Colorqueen. It's surprising how the magenta lipliner makes the Peacocky lippy look less blue.

In that second picture, you remind me a little of Ruby Wax :)

Thank you lovely ladies for your swatches and fotd's

Devin, I love it, so unique and avantgarde. Colorqeeen, the use of magenta l/l is brilliant, I knew Peacocky was wearable. Shontay, I just saw your pics and you have convinced me with Super, I was wavering but we will see when I get to the store.

My definites today after work are Peacocky and Dalliance. My strong look ats will be Super ( this girl on YT says is suppose to be a combo of VG5 and some other permanent lipstick. keijukainen posted the video. thx) I might've have been late but she said all the glosses are based on two lipsticks in the permanent collection which they fall in between, I had never heard that before.

I went to the Bay near/connected to Eaton Centre yesterday just after noon and the MAC counter on the ground floor was not busy at all. Most of the Peacocky testers didn't even look touched. I got most of my Peacocky haul from the RBC MAC yesterday morning since it's really close to my work and I couldn't concentrate on anything else.

I may go the freestanding store today at lunch to check out a few more things.

For those of you (Canadian girls) that went to either Eaton Center/Yorkdale/Square One, what was the stock like for Peacocky and Mickey, at the counters or freestanding? Any items selling out?

Thanks in advance

Apparently the extra oil on your lids is enough to activate the shadow to do the same thing that the shadow has to have to make it stick. That is a good thing! You are lucky- everyone at the counter that tried them on the few times I was there had to have a base- they were too dry otherwise to stick well.

So, I stand corrected- if you have oily lids- try them on to see if you need a base to use these or not. ;)

Ooh I love the eyeshadow swatches and especially Woo Me and Enchantee on xsparkage's vid!
Enchantee is definitely back on my list now though it might be very close to Of Royalty.

I have the dryest lids known to man lol...I always use a base or primer because very few e/s "stick"/absorb or apply evenly (I hate the crepey lid look). I can't imagine not using a base, no matter how good the e/s is. I could never judge the quality of the e/s based on whether it needs a base, because imo all eyeshadows look better with a base...(for most if not all people, but that's just my opinion of course, lol)

Another video :) She was also told kissables are mixes of previous shades. She mentioned these:
Enchantee = St. Germain & VG Gaga
Super = Viva Glam V & Hush
Exxxhibitionist = Vegas Volt & ?

Also, Exxxhibitionist looks a lot like Toxic Tale but it's not quite as bright.

I would recommend Center Stage & Unflappable. I also am into either neutral or smokey eyes & those are the only 2 shadows I bought from the collection. But I adore them both! Last night I did a smokey eye with my black greasepaint stick on the lid, Center Stage packed on top, Saddle in the Crease & then Center Stage blended up into it. I highlighted with Blanc Type & ran some Center Stage & black liner along my lower lashes & OMG! It was so quick & simple, yet I looked like I had smoldering Kim K. type eyes & I loved it! I can't wait to do a smokey eye with Unflappable! I am thinking maybe I will use it with Copperplate e/s ;) But, definitely check those two out.

Has anyone worn these for an entire day yet? I wore Center Stage last night over UDPP & a Greasepaint stick & it seemed to fade & crease a little. I did do my m/u in a hurry though. Maybe I did it pack it on well enough.

Hey Greyness said there was little Talc in these shadows. Talc is powdery. I am wondering if the limited amount of Talc is causing the shadows to not adhere to the UDPP and greasepaint as well. Her Greyness????? Any thoughts??? thanks in advance.
