I got my haul. I started doing looks and will post pics tomorrow in the swatch thread. I did end up getting all the shadows ans 2 lip colors. I am very pleased. There are definitely dupes for some of the shadows--and the colors are''t the most unique in the world--but the texture of the shadows is really impressive IMO. I wore Unflappable and Mating call together tonight with phloof as the highlight and blacktrack liner and got several compliments when we went out to dinner. These colors are dupable to a large extent but the texture makes these shadows shimmer and pop on the lids. I am going to try to attach a pic....

when i add an image i just click on the little picture square and then brouse for it via the computer and the upload

When this collection arrives, I will be making a b.line for Exxxhibitionist, Love Peck, Peacocky, Super, Flaunting It, Noir Plum and Tweet Me. If after swatching I like them, they'll be coming home with me!

here is Unflappable with Prance on the lid and Peek-at-You as highlighter, Blacktrack fluidline.... You can see Unflappable pulling brown now that it is paired with neutrals. I am afraid LMD84 has probably unleashed a monster now that I know how to attach pics. =o)

Last night I wore Top of the Posh on my lid, SoY in the outer corner and crease and Dalliance as a highlight for the browbone and inner corner - it was really pretty!
Oh yes, and I used Lord It Up as a smudged liner, so it was a very subtle smoky look LOVED this combo!

Well, I went back and got Scandelicious. Yes, it is appropriately named because it's delicious (it's Friday and I'm tired). I compared it to Strawberry Fields which is obviously darker so I was excited about that. It is very close to GAT but since I got that through a B2M I'm not too offended. Love the color. I'll probably continue to use Strawberry Fields in the winter and bust this out in the spring/summer. Can't get over my love of these formulas. I tried the other colors but they looked bad on me. I really wanted Strut Your Stuff if only for the name, but apparently me and orange based reds don't get along.
Same here. However its proving to be a popular color in the Miami area as it was one of the first two colors that sold out.

ok thanks! I was wondering how the pp from Cham Pale were working with the Mega Metal e/s. Dangerous Cuvee was sold out at the counter so I didn't get it.

I assume that resolves any decision making. If I keep reading this thread and looking at all swatches, I will end up doing the same so that I didn't have to spend one hour at the counter figuring out if I should buy Prance or Dalliance. I picked Prance. Now that I see GlitterLids pics, I am happy that I took this one.
Odalisque doesn't seem to be as popular after all because my local counter had plenty of them left.
I am in love with the lip colors. Not sure if I should buy backups? If they are that high in demand, maybe MAC will make them permanent.

okay...i am disappointed with Unflappable from Peacocky, SO similar to smut, I actually like smut better
Am I doing something wrong, mine isnt very pigmented, its nice for a subtle smoky eye, i was hoping for more though...

Well I LOVE SOY!!!!! It really made my hazel eyes pop. I may get Prance today because the color is so pretty - subtle though.

I tried to be good. I really did. I had the intent of no more than 5 shadows and one lippie.
I thought I was just going to order, but really thought I should swatch in person before going nutty online with ordering.
I ended up with 7 of the shadows at the counter yesterday and Flaunting It. Not tooo bad. only 2 over.
So, then...
Went to dinner with husband and daughter. Had a few dirty martinis. All my good intentions went flying out the window.
3 orders later.. I ended up with 5 more shadows and 3 more lippies.
(and Calm Mode dammit)
I am going to make a sign that says, "if you have had even one drink, step away from maccosmetics.com RIGHT NOW! , one for each computer, and lock the mac site from my phone or something. No more shopping for 2 months. This will be painful.
That said...
I love what I got, and what I ordered. Tweet me over Coral Crepe PP is fabulous! ONe of my shadows, I think it was Center Stage, the pan is loose, as in not attached at all. I guess that will make depotting easy, but still, the principle ticks me off. Kwim?
The lip formula is yum. I kept wanting to put Flaunting It on just for how great my lips felt with it on.
I ordered Love Peck because I wanted to see how that does for more long wearing. It really doesn't matter what lip product it is, it flies off my lips in minutes. Part of that is because I have a drink around all the time (No, not just alcohol, lol)
water or diet coke or coffee. all day long. I liked what I read about how some of you say Love Peck and a couple others leave some color behind.
Now, off to play with makeup!

Yesterday I went to the mall and ended up with only Mating Call e/s since Odalisque was sold out at my Dillard's counter and also my stuff that I had on hold was gone! I'm going to order Odalisque online.
