I envy you Jenn 'cz that's way more than I can do right now being sick, lol. It looks great! Mating Call is really nice on you! That was a colour I was looking at before, too. Nice work!

I just did a quick eye look with Top of the Posh, Mating Call and Noir Plum - thought you ladies might enjoy :)

TotP on the lid, MC outer 3rd and crease, NP outer corner, crease and lower lash line
I used Vanilla for the highlight and inner corner.
I used Lancome Artliner and Definicils mascara... nothing to the brows though, I'm sick and on my way out the door!

I also have Enchantee on my lips - love these colours together! :)
I love your 'Eye' ! So pretty. We only get to see just 1 eye

I just noticed that you pretty much have my coloring - eyes & all. I may be a lil paler.

"The Eye" .... sounds like a Japanese horror film!

Yeah, I think our colouring is almost identical - although the dim lighting here brought out the brown in my eyes, it's harder to see the hazel/green that's easier to see in the Siahi picture :) Good to know our faves will probably work on each other!

Have any of you pale ladies got Super or Temper Tantra? How are they? For some reason they interest me, I usually stay away from those colours. I'm very curious though to see if I could wear them. :)

Flaunting It was one of the first colors to sell at the some of the counters here in Houston. Peacocky was right behind it. I am sure there are several places that still have them though. Also a girl came to the counter on Saturday to try on Strut your Stuff and it looked amazing on her! She was about an nc50.

Has anyone experienced burning with the new glosses? I also feel a gritty feeling when I try to blend out the gloss on my lips. Flaunting It and Vanity Fair burn my lips so bad that I can't even wear them for ten minutes.

Okay my black box came today with my goodies. . . .

I really like Woo Me and Enchantee on. I do hate the applicator . . I wish it was a brush applicator !!!!

I'm thinking of backing up these two although, i know these colors could easily be duped. So I'm going to wear these for a few days and see how they hold up and let that be the deciding factor in regards to backing these up !!!!!!!!!

L- Noir Plum, R- Unflappable (darker irl...I will take pics in natural light when I can)

Unflappable had less plummy-ness to it, and more gray/brown than I noticed in store. That said, it could be the lighting at home...or the lighting in store lol.
I like it anyway ;) I am going to be doing a purple smoky eye with these 2 tomorrow, and maybe Siahi fluidline too...;)

Thanks - I will. :)
So you don't like MAC's Prep & Prime?
Meryl, only tried Prep & Prime once in the store. Don't recall it vividly so maybe I either didn't give a fair chance or maybe it wasn't that great. Dunno. My suggestion is to go to a MAC counter & ask for a small sample to try it. Same if you have a Sephora by you. This way, you can try before you buy. ;) Besides, I love getting a bang for my buck: the Lorac is .42oz. for $22 while the Prep & Prime is .17oz. for $16.50. ;)

Oh no, sounds like you might be allergic to something in them! Mine are definitely not gritty and they don't burn at all. You should return them or sell them if you can't wear them!!!

LV2EVOLVE - definitely sounds like an allergy - boo! Take them back! How awful.

Today I am wearing Prance and Mating Call with just a tiny bit of Soft Brown to blend it out and Black Swan Pearlglide liner, slightly winged out. So pretty. I don't usually wear a lot of purples, but they way these play with the light is just beautiful. I also used Sur blush to lightly sculpt out some cheekbones and Flaunting it sheered out on the lips.
Easy and pretty.

I don't know what it is about these eye shadows, but they still looking as beautiful as they did when I first applied. Usually frosty/metallic eye shadows start to look kinda creasy and weird on me after awhile, but these don't. The texture and wear are just phenomenal.

Has anyone ordered Temper Tantra? I'm NW20, and I sort of have my eye on it....but not sure if it would suit me??

I e-mailed MAC to please make these permanent. I never e-mail companies for stuff like that, but I am in LOVE!

Tried Dalliance e/s today. LOVED it! This for me was definitely the best of these shadows. It was pigmented, smooth and a gorgeous platinum colour. It reminded me of Chanel's kaliedescope n/p in terms of the colour itself. I applied in on the lid with Centre Stage on the outer corner, a matte ivory e/s from MUFE on the browbone and graphite shimmer ink liner (BB) to line both the upper and lower lash line for definition. I think I'll be doing this combination often!

And these things have terrific staying power too. No creasing at all after an entire work day all the way till bedtime!

I'm glad to hear that about the eye shadows, as I'm thinking of getting a few when they come out over here.

I'm also considering Temper Tantra, and I'm told I'm probably NW15 or thereabouts (can't get to a counter or store to find out for sure). I would love to see what this looks like on someone of similar colouring.
