@xasperadastra Pink Cult is the best! We should start a "pink cult" cult lol I have a feeling it will fly off the shelves. I just recently started my love for blushes... I actually only have 3 blushes so I'm really looking to expand in that department :)

@Allura Beauty I found that the eyeshadows themselves swatched rather ok like on the arm and things but when it came to using them on the eye.. iono they just didn't seem up to par to me... I guess I expected the formula of the Jeanius eyeshadows to be similar to the ones of Peacocky... it was my own expectations that got me disappointed otherwise they aren't bad shadows... just not great either imo

Hmm... I'm wondering how Frayed to Order would look layered over a white polish - it may help with the streaking and sheerness! Not sure it's worth $20, though... I think I'm skipping all of this for now to wait for QC, although the blue polish is really tempting me!!!

With the Peacocky shadows colors like Ego look the best when wet and get way more intense that way. I lined my eyes with it today and its a pretty vibrant green.

This is all just my opinion but this what I found....

The pigmentation of the eyeshadows were less than mediocre... somewhat hard to work with... NOTHING like the peacocky collection

The blushers were amazing and I say both are the stars of this show... Both will suit many skin tones but I think Pink Cult is more fair toned friendly and you're less capable of going overboard. (I am going to buy Pink Cult now for sure) I found PC looks like a dusty mauve in pan but on my face it applies this nice sorta baby pink that's just too perfect for words!

The Nailpolishes were ok...the blue is really nice but I am certain you could find a dupe for this polish that's much cheaper. The white was rather unique in it's color and drying texture but it was unfortunately very streaky and I wasn't able to get it evened out... also did take longer to dry than the blue

Didn't play too much with the lippies but Riveting Rose is reallyyyy nice! It's one you should try on even if you don't think it would work because something about this lippie is unique in that it almost reminded me of a mood gloss the way it just seems to be the perfect color on any skin tone, lip pigmentation etc..

it's basically a reiteration of what most people already said/thought but thanks for letting me share!

Thanks for your review! Thanks for the reassurance RR l/s. I was iffy bout it cause I'm so pale, but its so gorgeous in swatches. Your making me want Pink Cult but the QC ones are too fab to not get.

if an expensive shadow needs another product to make it work it just isn't worth the money to me! lol!

Took the words out of my mouth (fingertips?)! this is why I could never blog because I am terrible with words and trying to find the perfect ones to describe what I'm saying... but you hit the nail on the head right here! The shadows themselves are ok... but I completely agree with you.. they are by no means unique at all and they are very gimmicky! I think unless you really want the color the eyeshadows comes in (of course I'm talking about the actual color and not the overspray) I think more ppl are going to be disappointed by these if they bought online w/o checking them out in person.

I think you asked this on my blog, but I'll respond here to for anyone else wondering.

AP is lighter and pinker than Overdyed. It's not a huge difference on the skin. There's pros and cons to getting one or the other. With AP, you'll get two colors but it's more expensive. With Overdyed, it's darker and cheaper.

it's a great colour, but a lot more pigmented and deeper magenta/violet than the AP.

ok so.. (i feel like most of my posts start out this way...) i wasn't sure where to post this so if it shouldn't be here I apologize ahead of time.
I was watching the music video for the Black Eyed Peas "I got a feeling" and of course this song is old news and the video is old news but I just happen to see a few things that caught my eye about this video and that was the MAC collections tossed throughout the song. at 0:17 you will see a Viva Glam lipstick (not sure which version) and in the 3 seconds that come after 0:17 is a thing full of MAC makeup and it shows a reallyyyy orange eyeshadow and orange lipstick... but since I'm a newb I don't know if they are something we've seen before or?!
also @ 0:58 it shows a MAC lipgloss that looks kinda like Painted On from the Jeanius collection (or maybe I'm just crazy?)

I think I'll be picking up Pink Cult blush, and that's it. Maybe even totally skip? Sad that the eyeshadows are getting such bad reviews!
